Where In The World #20

Karolyn, so glad you are ok.
This is the first time since Wednesday that I have been here. We are camping at Fort Wilderness. Yes, the new wifi works, but have been too busy to play. I am doing a trip report on the camping board, so I just had to pop over to see what's going on, and boy did I miss a lot! Will be back in full play mode on Monday. Hope you continue to feel better each day.

Please feel free to pop over to the camping thread and read my report and look at my pictures.

Yay! You are back :yay:

Is your new crop from a park, resort or other?

:thumbsup2 I'll check out your report; my family is "hovering" :lovestruc so your report will be a good "weekend project" for me! ::yes:: :tink:

Yes this is from a park.

I'm in "two directions" on this one...since I mentioned it earlier...Epcot and Mission to Mars? (...and HAVE A GOOD TRIP if I don't get to talk to you again...my bed is calling my name...at least for a short rest!):tink:

:wave2::wave2::wave2: Is it ever good to be home and :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc :grouphug: I LOVE YOU GUYS! THANK YOU for your good wishes! :grouphug: Been a little overwhelmed since we walked in the door about 3:30 this afternoon and heard the phone ringing. :rotfl: First order of business was shower, wash my hair and seeing if my own bed would actually feel as good to be in again as I imagined it would...IT WAS :dance3:! Had a short rest before DGD's came running into the bedroom full of hugs :cloud9:; Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, I honestly didn't know if I'd ever see them again :scared:. DH got some homemade food on the table :-); other DD arrived to check on us; more phone calls from friends and now it's finally time to get caught up with my WITW friends! Ed was a "lifesaver/life line" in helping me NOT climb the walls the past couple of days:rotfl:, keeping me updated on what was happening here. I DON'T DO "bed rest" well and after laying flat on my back, hooked up to IV's/monitors/blood transfusions, etc. for 36 hours straight I needed a distraction ::yes::. Ed took over when DH and DD's left for home for the day after visiting hours. I even discovered there are old I Love Lucy reruns on the Hallmark Channel from 4-6 AM. :rotfl: No lack of "Disney talk" though with my caregivers. Several of the nurses are Disney fans and one of the "vampire ladies" (my affectionate name for the ladies that visited me WAY to often to draw blood) just did "all 4 parks in 1 day" a few short weeks ago. (She doesn't recommend it! :lmao:) DIANE...you have no idea how many times I thought of YOU during my Life Flight helicopter ride! :rotfl2: It only took us around 20 minutes to get from Bellville to Bryan via Life Flight but being slightly claustrophobic (Denise remembers my hesitation on riding Mission to Mars for that reason) I needed any distraction I could think off! They did give me a small amount of anti-anxiety drug :goodvibes but thinking about riding the Characters in Flight balloon with "the WITW gang" did just as much good. I must say it was "pretty cool" and would have had the "WOW factor" under different circumstances. The pilot and nurse (male and sweet as can be) were awesome, pointing out points of interest along the way. As soon as we were airborne, I looked out to see we were flying over DD's house! They loved it! The sunset was beautiful but their little detour over Kyle Field for me was AWESOME! The past few days have been an "adventure" and my "words of wisdom" to you all would be "live each day as if it's your last". My doctors, nurses, even former nurse BFF all put my "problem" in the "stuff happens" category; nothing they did, nothing I did just a "freak incident" (I won't go into the "details"...pretty yucky ). So now I'm ready to get back into WITW...I'll have to go back and look but I think it was Terri that solved the last crop I had up...

Glad you're home and back.

I've been busy with real life and the only news I got was via A posting on FB asking for prayers. I had no idea what was going on and thank goodness Denise clued me in!!! And then I think I remembered after that you had mentioned something.

Anyhoo......hope that you're doing okay at home!!

This is not from the MK or Epcot. :tink:

Glad you are back home. :yay: We missed you. Life Flight that's the only way you would ever get me in a helicopter. I hope your family is cooking Easter dinner so you can rest and get better.

Is your crop from AK? Is it a water wheel?

The Easter doggies your DD has been posting on Facebook are all adorable.

MK? Tomorrowland?

this is from Tomorrowland in the MK.

:thumbsup2 A "personal message to PIO" is on my list on Facebook when I get caught up again! I may have been "in bed" for 3 1/2 days but will only "rest" once I get some time in MY bed. :goodvibes Plus...gotta get those "Easter bunny eggs" stuffed for the DGD's and great-nephews/niece for this Sunday. Was NOT planning on spending last week "out of commission". I'll message you later...and thank you for checking on me! :tink:

:rotfl:...and you'd probably need more than "a little" of the anti-anxiety drug! When they put me on (their words) "the surfboard" and strapped my arms/legs down, I said...EXCUSE ME...YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE THOSE OFF AREN'T YOU? :rotfl2: "Sorry Mrs. O...those are your seat belts" and I was like...:scared1::scared1::scared1: But it was all good and I was instructed to "lay back and enjoy the ride"...again, thinking of the WITW "gang". :goodvibes Yes...sister and cousin have Easter lunch taken care off :woohoo:; the only thing I have to do is make the Princess some of my banana pudding. She made me promise I'd make it last weekend!

This is not from AK, which leaves HS as the park. It's not a water wheel. :tink:
