Luggage finally came today and I am all packed just getting a few last minute things in order now. Everyone should be over at our house around 12 and we plan to leave for Seattle at 1

I did not realize how much stuff you need to pack when traveling with a kid lol we are taking a lot of snacks with us so we don’t have to buy anything down there so most of our luggage is all for James. lol I know we could have stuff delivered but its cheaper to bring stuff ourselves like diapers which we have a lot lol day time, night time and swim diapers

Glad your luggage arrived. You have to pack a lot of stuff with little kids. Just think of all the stuff you buy for him when you are there that you have to take home.

Now comes the "drive me crazy" part 'cause I don't have a clue. Is it one of the resort buildings.

Lucky guess...I keep thinking the resort buildings are all "mansions". I'm going to try to visit Riverside...taking the bus from HS there and then the boat to Disney Springs. IF I manage to get away by myself, that's what I'll do; if "the girls" go to DTD too they may have another route in mind but I'd like to stay here on our next trip and want to "check it out" before I book.

A little of both ; identify the building and then, as a bonus point tell me where you think I took the picture from. (It's another "oldie" I found last week...trying to clean my files out so I have room to add the new ones in a few weeks. ).

Will be interesting to hear from Ed. The Wine and Dine was delayed by 45 minutes, and they pulled everyone inside WWoS (sound familiar Goopy?). Then the course was shortened to only 6.8 miles because of the weather!

Will be interesting to hear from Ed. The Wine and Dine was delayed by 45 minutes, and they pulled everyone inside WWoS (sound familiar Goopy?). Then the course was shortened to only 6.8 miles because of the weather!

Sounds VERY familiar! I'm guessing the storms that covered North Texas since Friday have moved into Florida. I wonder if he did this ...

...he IS on cold meds. At least the course is shortened for him!

Wasn't on the Skyway (I DO need to get some of those old pictures out though ...loved the Skyway!)...this photo isn't quite that old. This is from a Fantasyland shop; I cropped it because I never noticed this on this building before...not until I looked at the picture and began to wonder what it was.

Denise is correct, Sir Mickey's is on the right side when you exit the Castle tunnel but this isn't from BBB either (that used to be inside the castle...the last area to the left in the tunnel...across from the Cinderella's Royal Table entrance...not sure if it's still there now...I think so but will have to check). Diane is correct with my location when I took the photo...more to the right, close to the walkway to Tomorrowland. Keep thinking on the shop....

Was a fun but crazy night. Got to the corrals about 8. Enjoyed the pre show. We could see lightning off in the distance. I pulled up the radar and the blob of red that was heading our way was significant.

A few minutes later the cold air down draft leading the storm was there. Nice breeze. Light rain came and with the lightning in the area the call was made to evacuate the pre show area to the 3 buildings. I was already heading that way when the call came. Went into the first building and into a spot that I could be one of the first ones to the buses of then cancel event call came.

Word was there was foilage down in AK. Also with wet ground and minimal lighting in AK it was the right call.

Called to corrals, loaded them up and away we went fairly crowded the whole way. There really was no time the everyone to think out before finish line. The finish line party was crazy busy. Finished the run about 1. Enjoyed the after party til 3. Was asleep by 4 and then back up at 7:30.

Keeping it interesting! Some pretty significant colder air with this front, I can imagine what it looked like when it hit the humidity in Florida. I was afraid that was going to happen here but the bad storms stayed north of us. Sounds like a crazy day/night but also a fun one. You headed in sooner like we did...DH had checked the radar about 10 minutes before they called the teams off the soccer field and had told us to head to the buildings QUICKLY! Glad you made it in one piece and you must be feeling better if you're still going on 3 1/2 hours of sleep! Enjoy Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and have a safe trip home!
