So sorry...but then, like DH tells me, "you won't melt"! Raining during both playoff football games too...and windy...and cold; so rain in the MK isn't so bad after all!

I love it when it rains here. The park just emptys out and i get to have more fun. But tonight i have never that close to a lightning strike here. A big flash and before you could say wow the thunder was right there. Never less they shut down all outdoor stuff and canceled the 8pm light parade. Delayed the fireworks and now delayed the 10pm parade.

...and after Mom gets finished with you it will be MY turn! "Don't make me have to come over there!" I don't mind the rain in the parks either, sure is a lot easier getting on the rides. BUT...you've GOT to "respect" that lightening! Been there; done that; and said "OH S*$#!" Have a nice breakfast? Pineapple/Macadamia Pancakes at the Kona?

Lightning strikes are so scary. A telephone pole was struck about 50 yards from us once. OMG it was so loud and bright. Scared the crap out of us we didn't know what it was at first.

It rained here too, and then we got a tornado writing Not a very common occurrence in NC. But nothing bad, just some downed trees around town and we lost power at work for about 45 mins.

Those tornado warnings are scary; get them all the time here! We've had a couple of tornados "jump over" our house and I can honestly tell you...it DOES sound like a fright train! Glad there wasn't any more damage...and 45 minutes w/o power at work CAN be a good thing!
