I've never had really bad food at Disney, but I had a few meals that just didn't live up to the hype. Chief among these was Le Cellier. Just really average, and so mushed together elbow to elbow. Would never go back. Primetime 50s was cute and fun, but the food was blah. Definitely don't need to do that again. Same goes with Liberty Tree Tavern. Cute, but really average food like from a decent quality cafeteria-style restaurant. Chef Mickey's was cute, but they don't do warmed-over waffles or cafeteria scrambled eggs any better than anyone else does. I think I read these boards, with all the glowing, hyperbolic reviews, and I expected something more than a usual meal from a chain restaurant. Believe me, I'm no gourmet cook or food snob. I had just relayed the hype to my family prior to going and afterwards they were like, "Yeah, whatever. It was a nice meal
." Now I go in with much more realistic expectations, and I'm never disappointed!
