Where have you had bad food?

When I was in Epcot on NYE, I had lunch at the Lotus Blossom in China. I had the shrimp fried rice and an eggroll. The eggroll was really good, and I usually don't like eggrolls. The fried rice, on the other hand, was some of the worst fried rice I have ever eaten. The shrimp was not cooked all the way, and the rice was very mushy. I ended up throwing most of it away and going to eat in Japan. Much, much better.

Of course I won't even mention my visit to Cookes of Dublin this summer when they tried to serve me food that another customer had brought back.

1. Mexico in Epcot. Not even close to real MX food. Not even close to food, period.
2. Pecos Bills at MK. I wouldn't eat there again even if someone paid me.

My FIL claimed he got a bad cheeseburger for $6 somewhere in MK. Nearly ruined his entire trip. Everytime he would sit down to eat he would bring up his "bad chesseburger" I think it had more to do with the $6 for him than the actual taste:rotfl: We still tease him about "his bad $6 cheeseburger"!

I have never had what I consider a stellar meal anywhere at WDW yet. There are some that are decent and I don't mind eating at. However, you will never get me to eat at San Angel in again! The last time I ate there was 5 yrs ago and although it's pretty cool on the inside, that does NOT make up for the really yucky food we ate. After living in TX for awhile and getting pretty decent Tex-Mex food, I have yet to find a place outside of TX that meets my standards for how it should taste. And mind you DH and I are spicy food junkies. The hotter the better.

I'm looking forward to trying some new places on our trip in April. I don't think we're going anywhere we've gone before. We're being adventurous this trip!!!

So far (on past trips)we have had bad meals at:

The seafood buffet at Beach & Yatch Club (I forget the name of the restaurant).....to me it was like the frozen seafood you get at the food store, and heated up a few times, so it's like chewy.

AND the restaurant in Caribbean Beach (again I forget the name). It was just ick!

ETA: I forgot one....Planet Hollywood...was AWFUL! Bad service to boot!

See..i can't even remember the names..they left ZERO impression on me!

Ewwww, we ate at Tamu Tamu at animal kingdom(I think that's what it's called) It was the nastiest food ever. Also the counter-service food at cbr was ok but is managing to turn my stomach thinking about it. And the service was pretty bad. Also Akershes (sp, the Norweigan res in epcot) was not that great for me, but we had eaten a late breakfast and I wasn't that hungry, but they only have 4 lunch choices, and I don't like to be limited like that. I was really looking forward to Boma, but the only thing I really liked there was the kids stuff and the desserts. We did like 1900 park faire, and thought Le Chefs de France was pretty good. I wish we would have went to san angel inn, it smelled really good. Also the yak and yeti counter service smelled yummy and I was so mad we had eaten at that tamu place-again, nasties food ever.

1. Mexico at Epcot is disgusting... I really like Mexican food, and this isn't close. Even the chips and salsa were sub-par

2. Germany at Epcot... I think this has more to do with my taste buds than actual bad quality of food

3. ABC Commissary will never get another dollar (or swipe) from me!

Food poisoning from HDDR. It ruined our entire trip. (We even sang a little song about it.... we added another Doo to the Hoop-dee-doo song. :))

And, we've had one good and one bad meal at LTT.

Coral Reef last week...The lobster soup and salad..yuck. We enjoyed being there though so might try it again and go with the grilled fish.

Sci Fi...we felt sick afterward

Sci fi and Wolfgang pucks.... sick afterwards at both places.

I would go to Sci Fi again but I would not order the shrimp pasta dish it was very bland or the apple dessert that wa awful but theothers ordered steaks and they were good. We also did not much care for the food at Liberty Tree, I agree very cafeteria like!!

Now that you mention it, that shrimp pasta made me sick too.

Pecos Bills - in the past it was decent, but last trip we all threw our hamburgers away and found a snack later. Nasty.

LeCellier - bad cut of steak.

Cantina in Mexico - worst-than-a-skating-rink nachos. Blech

We had bad, bad food and service at Hollywood & Vine. It is the only restaurant that I will not return to. The Dining Room was noisy and we were surrounded by dirty, unbused tables. Our waitress virtually ignored us, and was rude when she did interact.
The buffet was terrible. The only good things were the green salad, the bread and the ice cream dessert bar. I am not a picky eater either.
The Ladies Room was fiflthy!!!
Never Again.

I completely agree. Hollywood & Vine was terrible in everyway. We must have had teh same waitress.....LOL
A close second is WCC. Loud & rude waitresses and the food was also terrible.

We also found Hollywood and Vine to be extremely filthy. You could not use the rest room at all! Pecos Bill was pretty disgusting too. I got sick after eating there. The food in China was soggy and unappealing. Those are the only three that I would never venture into again.
