We have eaten at Whispering Canyon for Thanksgiving dinner...didn't care for it. We have eaten at Maya Grill for another Thanksgiving meal. Then this past time we actually ate at Planet Hollywood.

I ate at The Biergarten in 2006 and 2007. It was great, although at the end(2007 visit) they tried to tell us that the price of lunch was 31.99 a person, when we were told when I made the reservation that it would be 23.99
for lunch. I should have been alerted when they didn't have a price listed anywhere when we walked in. If I had asked and been told 31.99,we(mother and I) would have walked out, because as great as BG is,it isn't worth that kind of money. As soon as I started to say something to the server,he very politely stopped me and said he would get a manager to come right to the table. That told me that he must have been dealing with the same question all day. The manager very kindly not only said that the 31.99 would not be charged to us,we were only charged the regular 19.99 lunch price. That tells me that reataurant management was trying to gouge the patrons into paying something that they didn't have to since they so quickly charged us the right price.

In 2006 we went to Biergarten on Thanksgiving for lunch. Mainly because it was the only thing left. We tried really hard to get LTT, but since that is traditional Thanksgiving food, I guess you have to make ADRs way ahead of time. I enjoyed the food at Biergarten, but the experience a little less. It was hard to get our server to refill our drinks and it was a little awkward sitting with people we didn't know. Other than that, it was pretty good.

We ate in 06 at Tony's in MK basically because it was the last place we could get, as my sister waited too long to make reservations.
It was ok, I was not in love with it. I did really like the squash it was different, like it was mixed with instant potato mix or something added to it, but it was good.
We got an appitizer, but for the life of me I can't remember.
We had the traditional turkey, cornbread dressing which I did not like, and veggies.
Then just pumpkin pie as dessert-it was a set menu.
It was really loud inside and busy and we were stuck in corner that was hard to get at so the server was not around much and I think she was new, it just did not have the feel of Thanksgiving.
MK was really crowded that day too, the lines for every food stand was crazy long and our reservations were not till 4, we had figured go in and walk around get a churro and just do things we don't always do.. but we left and went to Poly for a drink and got cheese and crackers and hung out by the pool till our reservations. Prob won't do a park again on Thanksgiving but maybe a hotel.

In 06, we did the Thanksgiving at the Fort at Fort Wilderness. I can't remember what we paid, I want to say about 40 a person and we were not impressed at all. In 07, we were going to try WCC at WL, but Dh got laid off in October and in an effort to cut costs, we brought our own meal and ate at the camper. (We love to camp at Fort Wilderness!) Anyhow, we ordered ham and turkey from honey baked ham... made a few sides and it was a wonderful thanksgiving! Much better than eating out!!!

We had Thanksgiving in 2006 at Jiko. They were only serving a Thanksgiving menu. It was a nice place to have Thanksgiving, and the food was good. But, next time we're going to California Grill for Thanksgiving.

Nov 2005 - we did Mickeys Backyard BBQ. They had 'traditional' food but the turkey wasnt 'whole bird'...it was more like coldcuts. Potatoes, veg etc., plenty of it...The food was 'ok' the real draw was mickey and minnie..and the kids get a chance to do some line dancing. The deserts were awesome Pumpkin pie, pecan pie, every kind of pie you could think of. They had activities for the kids..decorating cookies and such after the meal. It was very loud tho....so as long as you dont mind 'not' talking with your family during this meal it can be a lotta fun.

Nov 2006 - Thanksgiving at the rental villa with gramy & gramps...

Nov 2007 - Artist Pointe. Food was excellent...Total bill came to well over 200.00 with 2 adults 2 kids.

Truth be told tho...Mickeys BBQ was a bigger hit with the kids.:wizard:  (and a lot cheaper too)

We did Biergarten in '06 and loved it! In addition to the regular Biergarten offererings they also had American Thanksgiving foods. I wasn't too sure about eating there for Thanksgiving but I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I would never guess Biergarten to have regular foods too. Interesting. We ate lunch there last Aug. I didn't really care for the food....my dh and daughter liked it though. If they have a regular Thanksgiving selection too...I might consider that.

Well if you are looking for "typical" thanksgiving food (turkey, mashed potatoes etc.) that is always on the menu at the Liberty Tree Tavern. Aside from that I know that on Thanksgiving Day a lot of the other restaurants feature a special Thanksgiving menu. You would just have to invetigate to find out which restaurants.

We ate at Olivia's at OKW resort. It was the only thing left when we called to make an ADR but it was a good choice. I believe they offered other stuff in addition to the traditional Thanksgiving fare but we stuck with the traditional stuff. :thumbsup2
