Where have all the old posts gone?

It has taken me this long to realize that the old posts disappear. All this time I have said, "well, I am not going to write that interesting bit of information down, because when I need to know it I can just look back at the old post" Well, now they are not there. Can we access them somehow? Or do I have to keep bugging you about the same questions?

If you know what you are looking for, you can use the search feature... this is how I found the old knottie roll call again a few days ago.

whenever I try to search, it says that the search function has been disabled by an administrator. What's that all about?

You can list how far back you want the posts to go at the bottom of the page. Took me awhile to figure that one out!

What posts are you looking for in particular ? I used to have a problem with search because they closed it when there were high numbers on the boards because it slowed the board down but I think we'v ehad an upgrade since then and I can now search at any time.

It must have been high volume, because I tried it later that night and it worked fine. I found what I needed and now I use that search thing all the time!
