The Bay Area remains super hot due to low supply and pent up spring demand. This is in spite of all the people supposedly leaving in droves. We’ll have to wait and see where it all lands. But I agree, a lot of people willing to move further out for space and their money can go a lot farther there, so why not bid things up. A lot of people are trying to improve their immediate situation by grabbing up vacation homes too.People are moving out of the cities in droves since C19 made them question how easily quality of life can be affected in the city. Bidding wars happening much more often. The exurbs are where it's at now.
But it seems like there is still a market for it? However, I’m still fairly new to these boards so not sure if the activity on those boards is down quite a bit from what it used to be
