We will be driving from NJ to Orlando and are looking for a good place to stay that is nnot in a major tourist area. Looking for something right off 95. Thank you in advance.

What time do you think you will want to stop? About how far do you expect to drive that first day? There are a lot of stopping places from N. Carolina all the way to northern Florida, depending on your start and stop times.

We drive from the philadelphia area and we usually stop at the Springhill Suites right off 95 in Savannah, GA. We've had nothing but good experiences, clean rooms, and the rate includes breakfast.

I'm glad to hear someone has had good experiences at the Spring Hill Suites in Savannah. We have not been there since January, 2011, however, that was not a good experience. We arrived late in evening, maybe 11:00 p.m., and stayed for approximately one hour. We had bugs in the bathroom, opened up the sofabed and the bedding from the previous occupant was still on there. The bedding on the king bed was threadbare and stained. I was extremely upset that evening since we had never had anything but excellent experiences at Marriott prior to that. So, if you've had good experiences there....hopefully, they've rectified the situation at that particular Spring Hill Suites.

We drive from South Jersey and push to get to the Georgia/Florida border and have stayed at the Country Inn and Suites.

Have you driven before? Stop at the rest areas when you enter the new state and pick up the Coupon books.
