Where do you pack your film

I read awhile ago to bring it carry on and hand check it. Does anyone put it in their checked luggage. I have 15 rolls and would hate for it to be damaged. leaving in 2 days. Thanks in advance,

I would pack the film in a carry-on. When planning for a trip years ago, I was told that the checked baggage x-ray machines were powerful enough to affect undeveloped film. This was when a very few airports had such machines and I'm sure now even more airports have them.

A lot of people are requesting hand check now due to concerns over higher radiation. However, the airports are not always willing to do it. I pack mine in my carryon and have never had a problem even when traveling overseas.
