Where do you hide from the summer storms?

NICE.
I'll give my list.

13th MK: POTC line, Space Line. VOTLM line.
Or shops across from the treee house.

14th: AK : This one stumps me. Dunno where to hide! The only place I can think of is Dinosaur Line.

15th: EPCOT: Living with the Land and Figment Lines, Spaceship Earth. Shops behind China and Japan. Inside the Aztec Temple. The Seas Pavillon (lots of people flock to this one though)

16th: MK for my first Fathers Day at the parks!

17th HS : also somewhat unknown , ROTR is somewhat covered, Indy show pavilion, (avoid Walt Disney Presents due to popular hiding spot) Same for SW Launch Bay.

Thats all I know of really.

Honestly storms come up so quickly that there’s often no time to plan. Can’t tell you the number of times I’ve sheltered in a bathroom with a bunch of other stranded guests.

It’s sunny when we enter and in the few minutes it takes to take care of necessities, the heavens open and we are trapped! 🤣

Most consistent options are shops and "some" QS locations.

Got stuck with a 2 y/o , stroller with piled on junk in Norway, only place was the entrance to Akershus - although frowned upon by CM's - they probably didn't push me out considering the circumstances. :)

Queues - depends on location in park area.

Poncho Up

I'd say always avoid Main Street shops.....

I'll be watching the radar app I have, as a former Florida resident, it helps to see where it's actually coming from and going to.

Thats QS resturant that normally would be good in MK is Peco Bills, but with AP previews for Tianas , I'd avoid being over there for any extended time, it's gonna be crowded.

Epcot - entire Land pavilion especially if it looks like it will be a longer storm (two rides...a "movie"...and a place to get food)
MK - Space Mtn OR Peter Pan (wait out the rain in line for a ride with a typically longer wait time...and if PP, then can quickly run over to Small World if it's still raining when done)
HS - Rise (again...due to longer line that is inside) or maybe Frozen sing a long
AK - Tough to be a bug? Both Pandora rides have long lines that are mostly inside as well

Just to add to list....MK COP, Mickey philamagic ( I don't think its spelled correctly)
AK , Or course if timing works, Nemo or Lion King show.

HS, muppets

I break out my pocket-sized emergency poncho and move about normally. Of course, some rides shut down in heavy rain or lightning, so I do make for an indoor queue/ride.

Ah muppets , excellent suggestion

On our trip last August, we were in Satu'li Canteen for lunch when the skies opened. After eating and chilling for an hour or so, it calmed to a gentle sprinkle. We went from there to the Safari and had the best ride we've ever had. The animals were so active after the thunderstorm, even the lions.

Epcot - Mexican pavilion, Mitsukoshi in Japan
MK - Hall of Presidents, Monsters Inc, Country Bears etc.
DHS - Toy Story Mania, any indoor ride really

Just throw on the poncho if we have it or get wet, we will ride what is open or shop, but no plans to do anything different in the rain unless they shut everything down.

For me it also depends if it's just rain or one of the huge thunderstorms FL is famous for. FL is the lightning strike capital of the US with an average of 112.6 strikes per sq kilometer each year!!

There are many times we could have handled walking around in the rain but the lightning would have made it very dangerous to do that.
