I would love to try all of the countries, but I have picky eaters with me. Do you go over to Boardwalk or BC or try something ethnic and different? Also has anyone ever eaten at the American section??

Just wondering :mickeybar  :hyper2: :flower1:

Are your picky eaters kids? If so, all of the countries have kids menus. Don't let that stop you from being adventurous.

EVERYWHERE!! We try to eat something from every country!

I am a somewhat picky eater too and I can tell you that every country has something I would consider "less adventurous" food. At morocco, they have the rotisserie chicken, etc.

If you really must leave EPCOT, I suggest you go to Beaches and Cream at the Beach club for burgers and shakes.

The America Pavillion only has counter service. It's good food, but just like all the other counter service places in WDW. (Except they have yummy apple pie). We have started trying something new each trip, and I have yet find a person pickier than DH. Even he has found food he REALLY liked at Marrakesh and Beirgarten. Next time we're going for Teppanyaki, and he's actually excited!! Everywhere we've been has lots of options, some being more mild than adventurous. And as posted above, most of the places have kids options including mac and cheese or pizza type foods.

Le Cellier is excellent also, and I believe they have items for pickier eaters. Also Biergarten, and the counter service at the American pavilian has burgers, etc.

Le Cellier is really good as is the Rose & Crown – try the fish and chips there or I believe they have a vendor for that in the UK as well.

The American Adventure serves hot dogs, chicken fingers, root beer floats, French fries and the like. The food is not bad and it can be pleasant to sit outside under the trees, especially when there is a concert going on. There is plenty of seating.

China has great counter service for a quick bite – wonton soup, egg rolls and the like. The food is pretty good.

Germany has great soft pretzels! I am not a fan of the food served at the Biergarten, but many folks love it.

Also, the Coral Reef has some excellent seafood. It is very pricey, however.

I’ve eaten at Mexico’s larger restaurant, but never at the counter service along the lake. I love Mexican food, so I’m sure I’d love that as well. I seldom hear negative comments.

I think the American restaurant at Epcot is an embarassment! It really is the worst place in the World Showcase. Might as well go to McDonalds.

I know what you mean about picky eaters, but read through the menus at some the World Showcase restaurants and see if you can find something you all can agree on--it's worth it!

We are here now. Just had dinner (lst time) at LeCellier. It was very good. We like Japan (hibachi), Mexico, Rose and Crown and France. These are our in Epcot favorites.

Outside of Epcot, we like Spoodles - Meditarrian cuisine. We have not yet tried Flying Fish, but I hear it is "top notch." Along the lines of Jiko and California Grill (my two personal favorites).

Some counter services in Epcot are also very good.

Hope this helps.

We always have to go to the Teppanyaki Grill. :)

I've eaten at the American section. It's ok, but I can get burgers anywhere.:p My 12 yo dd was happy with the funnel cake she had there.:teeth:

My dd also highly suggests the kids' cappuccino (hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles) at Alfredo's in Italy.:hyper:

All we do is go around the world to eat!

We love LeCellier - especially the cheese soup and salmon.
We love Rose 'n Crown - the cheese & fruit platter is so good on a hot afternoon!
We love the fish 'n chips counter service. We usually take our food over and listen to Off Kilter (or whoever else is playing at UK or Canada at the time).
Some of us like the lamburger at Morocco.
All of us like the counter service at China and Japan. Never tried the sitdowns.
We grab chocolate mousse or other goodies in France. Never ate at the sit-downs in France.
We like the counter service in Germany. It's a quick, good snack.
The pretzels all around the world is great.
The funnel cake in America is good. We've eaten the counter service too.
We love the pastries in Norway.

Boy - that's a lot so far. Guess I'll stop!

YUM! And isn't just the kids that are picky eaters ;)
DH is too :teeth:

As for me I would love to go 'around the world' with food!

We ALWAYS make sure to eat at the Matsunoma Lounge/Tempura Kiku and have sushi in Japan. I don't know, just having sushi in 'Japan' is fun and makes it that much more special.

Trinity721, I think you have absolutely the most beautiful family! Everytime I see that picture I just smile, thinking how cute you all are as a family. She's PRECIOUS!
