Where do you buy your APs ?

Do you buy them in advance ? If so how much does international shipping cost ? What number do you call ?

At the airport Disney Store when you arrive ?

At the park gate ?

.....and still get DC discount ??

At the park gate. It's hassle free, and delays until the very last moment when I need to use my credit cards to pay for the ticket.

We tend to do them in advance to beat the price rises - they last went up in September last year, so you might figure on the same time this year. Mind you, with park attendance running lower than they'd like, they may hold off a little.

Bought them by calling DC number - they were mailed DHL to us and arrived within about 10 days. They provide green cicadellic credit card-like vouchers that are exchanged at any of the theme parks for the real ticket. The tickets are valid from the time you exchange them for one year.

Yes, they do charge for shipping unfortunately. I think it was about $10 or so last year, but we saved money by getting our Xmas party tickets at the same time.

We're waiting for the same thing, as hopefully there will be one before we leave in mid-October. We've done most of the other special events at one time or another, but never this, so am looking forward to it

According to Deb Wills' site (http://www.wdwig.com/mnssh.htm) they went on sale April 28th last year, so another few weeks yet I think. Might be worth you holding on till then and getting everything sorted in one go.

Do you get discount on the tickets - or is it just the shipping you save on ?

Do you book through DC or WDW - I'm a bit confused with all these phone numbers !!

Sounds like it's pretty full each time, but i'd guess more people get dressed up on the actual night itself - you should have a wonderful time

I think we got a discount on the MVMCP tickets by purchasing ahead of time, but i'm not sure if that's the same for Halloween - at worst you'll just save by only paying for shipping once.

As for how to call - we bought everything in one call last year to 407-W-DISNEY - Candlelight tickets, MVMCP, Annual Passes, the lot!! They seemed to take the DC discount without any problems.

However I didn't get any discount using DC for MVMCP last year.
