Where do shuttle buses drop you off? Is it a long walk?

We'll be staying at the Quality Suites Universal. They have a shuttle bus to USF/IOA. Is there a standard place these buses drop you off? How long would the walk be?

We've never taken a shuttle bus before (saving money on the parking). Is it even worth saving $40? We've got the 5 day tixand plan on going back and forth.

What happens if we park and want to go back to the hotel for a rest and then want to go back to the parks later? Do we have to pay to park again or is the parking ticket good for the whole day?

Parking is good for the whole day (is free after 6pm anyway)
Shuttles will drop you off quite close to the park, just below the entrance into city walk infact so you don't have far to go at all Just up the escalator & left, onto a walkway & it is maybe 100 yards or so to get into city walk? trust me, it's not far! You just need to then walk through city walk but you can't get any closer than you will do with a shuttle bus.

My only beef with shuttles are the schedules. They can be quite limiting. Check with the hotel about the times going and coming back. You can be having a ball at the park then have to make a mad sprint to catch the last bus out.... been there, done that!

Otherwise the place where they drop off gives you a shorter walk than self parking so the walk is better.
