where do I start these days?

we have had to put off this trip for FAR too long and we are committed to going in may. It used to be that I would be making my ADRs right now, but I'm confused on how to do that when I haven't made my park pass reservations. Do I do that first? If so, how do I decide which days to do which parks? We are staying deluxe and tend to tour later in the day and late at night. Is there a crowd predictor that is even helpful at this point? What about with Genie+ and ILL. I have already paid for Genie+ but I don't know how to factor it into choosing my park days. Basically, I'm asking what is step 1. TIA!

Step 1 is booking park reservations. Little else can be done until you know which parks you'll do which days. I wouldn't even make ADR till I knew my parks. Unless you plan only dinners and plan to hop.

I am not sure any crowd calendar is really helpful at this point (maybe a little, but I wouldn't rely on it), especially if you are only looking for what the crowds will be like during evenings. That said, I think @Mrs.AMC is correct, a good first step is reserving your park days. Right now, Epcot is getting extra evening hours most Mondays and MK is getting those extra hours most Wednesdays. So you may want to reserve those parks on those days since you have access to the additional hours and prefer evening touring.

I recommend making your ADRs first since restaurants fill up so quickly. Once those are in place, you can determine which park makes the most sense for each day and you can then book those reservations.

Unless the park you with the ADR is sold out, and you book prior to 2:00. Then you are SOL with the ADR

Being DVC, I'm booking my trip 11 months out so I just come up with the park visitation plan when I book the room. Figure out what we want to do when and then wait until ADR time. At that point I start booking places based on my parks. If I have to change to get the reservation I want, I will but try to book dining within my current plan. I'll use Touring Plans dining finder to fill in what I can't get and it usually doesn't disappoint.
