Where do I find....

information about the big celebration next year? We have gone to WDW the past two years at the end of May and I would love to convince my DH that we should go again next year but I need some "ammunition" to use for my cause. So where do I look?

Isn't there supposed to be a birthday celebration at all parks in honor of Disneyland? I thought I had read that was the reason for DCL moving the Disney Magic to the west coast. Am I wrong?

5-5-05-- begins the 50th anniversay (bday) celebration of Disneyland. However events will spill over into WDW. It will include the opening of new rides, attractions and shows. I can't wait for all the new "additions" however, I don't think we'll be going until fall of 2005 for this event.

It will include the stunt show at MGM, a new castle stage show at MK, the new Everst Expedition at AK (hopefully I have read reports this may be delayed beyond then), and the new soarin ride at Epcot. Also rumored some of the parades may change, but thats just a rumor thus far.

I don't know about the special events at DL because I haven't kept up on those.

Do you know if there is or will be a calendar of events type thing or how/when special things will be publicized?

WDW is getting the Expedition Everest, Soarin', Motorcars Stunt show and Cinderellabration.

05/05/05 is the official kick-off date for all these events at DL, WDW, DLP, and TDL.
