I called the radio station to make a request ("Carefree Highway" by Gordon Lightfoot, to be specific) and the DJ wanted to chat.

We married 9 months later.

Hey I met my Hubby on Jan 6 1996 after finding him through a personal ad on the internet. We went to dinner and a movie We married in 1999.

we met online ina chat room almost 12 yrs ago. he piped up anyone from the east coast of canada i said yeah i am. we arranged to meet at a book store on the 6th of january in 1998- i almost blew him off!!! been together ever since, married in 1999, celebrated our tenth at disney this october.

School girl crush! I was a freshman in H.S. 14yrs old and dh was a jr 17yrs old. Started "going together" on March 17, 1988--St. Patricks Day (hence my username clovergirl5, 5 is my # of dc). Together for almost 22yrs, married for almost 15.

Its so good to hear that couples make it past the 2yr hump.The majority of the posters here are well past the 5yrs and alot of 10+yrs.
I know so many couples that never seen past the 2yr hump!!

I did pack to leave a few times during our first year of marriage. DH would help me unpack and out things away when we made up. The last time I packed and then we settled things. He didn't help me unpack and did it take a while for me to put away my clothes! So I figured it was too much work and never did it again.

I met my fiance through my mother. She was best friends with his mom. I met DFiance when I was 11. We started dating when I was 14 so that means we've been together for 9 years- we are getting married in April!!!

Not married yet, but met the man of my dreams on October 24th. We met on Match.com, e-mailed for a few weeks, then progressed to phone calls and then finally arranged to meet for our first “date” on October 24, when I saw him, I knew he was the one and he felt the same way about me. It’s been magic ever since and we are already discussing marriage and our future together. Seems crazy and I never would have imagined the Lovebug hitting me quite so hard and didn’t think it was possible to fall so quickly for someone, but there is just something different about this guy. I see myself with him for life.
