Well we finish at the Harbor House and it's time for our Peter Pan FP's...so it's off to Neverland.
This is a really cool concept...Flying boats...looking down on everything...I like the view of London...and the little Capt. Hook and Smee firing at you as you round the corner...as you pas Mermaid lagoon...I wonder how many Little Girls not familiar with Peter Pan see the Red Head Mermaid and say...look there's Ariel...then once it's over...I can't help but think...Dang that's one short ride...I'd be sick if I waited an hour for that.
Don't get me wrong the ride is fine...and I like it...but there's no way I'd wait an hour for it...Philharmagic is better (IMHO) and seldom do you have to wait more than 10 minutes for it.
So by now the First Spectro Magic Parade is over and we make our way to Main Street USA to find a spot for Wishes. We find a spot...relitively uncrowded section of street between the Adult Clothing section of the Emporium and the Watch/Jewelry store on the other side of the street.
Mel loved her a Disney Watch...or 12...so you know where she goes while me and the boy's guard our section of street. Mel gets back just in time for the Show.
Remember in the previous edition how I said it was overcast...well it still is...and most of the Fireworks are in the Clouds...but the Castle effects...Tinker Bell...amd the shotting star Fireworks in front of the Castle are still worth watching...anyway I have 2 more visits to the MK scheduled...and I'll see them then too. Wishes! I love this show...especially when the little girl and chorus are singing.
With Wishes over Mel and Tiny go get our traditional spot for the 2nd Spectro Magic Parade...we like to sit right outside the Firehall where the Parade Starts...Typically we do this so we can be the first to the Monorail when the Parade is over...but tonight it's just because we like sitting there...meanwhile Boy and I are on a Mission...Adventureland...Aloha Isle...Dole Whip. We get 1 for each of us...and it's surprising how fast these suckers start to melt...but we get back...though boy and I had to stop and eat a little of all of them so they wouldn't spill out...too bad for Mel and Tiny...good for me and boy.
We meet a nice Family From Ont. Can. while we waiting for the parade...don't remeber the names...I'm terrible at that...but they were very nice...their first trip.
The Parade starts and I immediately notice that the Bubble headed Clowns on the Spectromagic Float no long have the Bubble Head...but actual Faces with white paint. I like this better...the Bubble heads looked freaky. the Guy with the horn on the front right didn't appear to be too happy about his job...but everyone else seemed cheerful.
Then there's Mickey. Genie and the Band...I like it when Goofy says, "Look at them lights...gee they purdy!" Chip and dale always have fun playing the piano. The little Mermaid Floats are next...starting with Ursala...
Boy those Ostraches have some Masculan Legs on the Fantasia Float...the only thing wrong with where we sit is that we never see Chernabog unfold his wings.
Then we get the 3 Fairies from Sleeping Beauty...then some Villans...Hook...the Queen from Snow White...oooh she looks so evil. Then some good Guys like Peter Pan...and 6 of the 7 Dwarfs...Dopey...He gets to ride with Pinochio, Geppeto, Donald, Minnie, and of course our Host Jiminey Cricket...he's so cute on the back of that float.
So the Parades done...our Magic Meter is on full after Wishes and Spectro magic...and we work our way through the Emporium out the back of Casey's to Adventureland...one more Dole Whip.

then Alladin's Carpets. That's actually a fun ride when you don't have to wait...It's Midnight by now and EMH are in effect...wee go to PotC one more time...the poor Cast member at the entrance is trying to explain that he can't let this group in because the park is closed to visitors unless they are staying at a Disney Resort...language barrier...we didn't help his case when he let us through...but what can you do...
We go up the Right Ramp this time...and I find this...circled it so you can too...
Then we goto Big Thunder Mountian...almost no wait...though the Rope maze has yet to be tweaked for a shorter line...on our first trip...I forgot to mention...Boy has never rode this...but was willing to give it a try...he's the one to ask about going a 2nd time...and a 3rd. 3 Trips on BTM is enough...
Only Tiny and I want to hit Splash Mountain...we get in...no line!!!

and we get the front seat!!!

This is my favorite ride!!! I said ride...not attraction. Philharmagic still has that.
I like the "How do you do song!" and the scenes from Song of the South just as much as the Big Drop...They had the Water level cranked really high this ride...I have never...ever gotten this wet on Splash before...I had nothing dry left on me...hat...pants...shirt...wallet...camera case...camera case!!!!

It did its job...kept my camera dry...but I forgot I had it on...and I was scared for a moment...after being this wet...once was enough for me...and we were cold!!!
So we check and see if anybody wants to do anything else as it is only 1:50 and the park is open until 3AM...but no we are all pretty wiped out...and we will be back to tackle Tomorrowland and our favorties 2 more days!
One last look at the Castle...
We get to the Monorail by 2pm...TTC by 2:15...Bessy is setting way out in Pluto all by herself 2:20...we get back to the CSR 2:30...and Might I add that the security gate at the Cabanas entrance has got to be the slowest hunk of junk I have ever seen... We all get a shower and crash by 3:30.
OH those comfy queensize beds...
End of Day2...even though it spilled over into day 3...sorry for the lack of Pictures...but most of this was in the dark anyway.
Next Episode...
Who could that be knocking at my door?
