"Where did y'all get those shirts?" Fried, Tie-Dyed, and Places Mickey Hides.

Great update!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We might do the HoP on this trip... we are yet to do it. I don't know if our DD3 will give us a hard time in it though?

I haven't been to the Hall of Presidents in many years. I am looking forward to seeing it again. I hope we have time on our next trip.

You got me wanting to try that chicken Sandwich now!!!! Shari likes the wraps at Pecos Bills a lot and I usually get a burger like Tiny and then pile it high at the fixins bar! :woohoo:

Love the picture on the porch...a classic. Looking forward to the updated Hall of Pres. I doubt I'll take pics of that though...I already have a picture of the current President with me signed by him on my desk.

I didn't remember that Panchitos carried crocs...might have to look into that.
Mel will probably kill me if she sees I've put that picture anywhere near the internet.

I really liked the updated storyline in the HoP.

I realize Obama has allot of fans...I'm just not one of them...but alas...this is not a political forum...and I won't get into that. I'm certain you'll love the HoP...I did. :thumbsup2

Yes, if it were me, I would kill you too! And I understand what you are sayinbg about "O"...I've known him for 25+ years, but this is not the place for it.

We will definitely be sure not to miss it this trip.

hello nate ... im new to your TR and all caught up now! :goodvibes i agree with you, the DDP is REALLY the way to go .. its very nice having ur meals paid for ahead of time. i really am enjoying your attention to the hidden mickeys and all of their details! looking forward to hearing more and seeing more about ur trip! :thumbsup2

:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao: Thank you for posting that link to Skipper Dan. I haven't heard or seen that one. Too funny. I was reading your TR, saw that video, unplugged the laptop, grabbed the mouse, ran in the bedroom, threw it on the DH's lap and said "You have to watch this video!" We both love Weird Al.

Enjoying your TR and did you really stop for a Pineapple Dole Whip and didn't tell anyone. I need to remember that next time I run for FP's.

We go to WDW at least monthly and I haven't ridden Peter Pan in over a year and that was at 1:00am and still had a 40 minute wait.

I need to keep an eye out for the shadow of the cat in PoTC, haven't noticed that.

Skipper Dan is a Classic...I even bought the mp3 from Walmart.com so I could listen to it on the trip down...Mel was not happy. :rolleyes1 My favorit scene in the video is where the "Comedy/Tragedy" Mask are morphed into the Native Shields...Don't bother trying to IMDB me...the only place you might possibly see me... is riding my little boat around Adventureland... :rotfl2:

:ssst: about the Dole Whip.

I really don't get the Peter Pan thing...it's a continuously moving Ride...that last all of 45 Seconds...tops...you'd think the line would move faster.

great update! Peter Pan is the first thing on our list when we go...(first thing after rope drop on a MK EMH AM) Mostly just so we can get it over with I think...the kids love it......anything with pirates! But we only ever do it once per trip.

Joining in to read along about your family's trip. Glad you reported on HoP. We're planning on visiting it on our trip this fall and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. Also, can't wait to see the Skipper Dan video later today at home (sssh... at work :surfweb: and no Youtube here). Great job so far. Paitently waiting for more. popcorn::

OK... I haven't read all the chatter and I can't see the pics at work, but I've read the installments. You've got me cracking up! Very nicely done! And you seem to be keeping them coming... unlike a certain other person who can't seem to get to day 4! :rotfl2: I like your style!

Thank you for joining...Hope you like Skipper Dan...I know how the IT Nazi's can be at work...

I've been procrastinanting...actually trying to do some work while at work...I'm not on the Computer much at home.

Glad you Finally made it. :thumbsup2

I don't know what's wrong with that other guy...

I'm hearing Crickets in his thread again. :rotfl:

Great update, sounds like you guys have a great trip so far. I really like reading a Dad's perspective on a TR. I am thinking of maybe trying my hand at this after my next trip. My only worry is being able to keep the updates coming and actually finish.

That's not a shot at anyone, I swear...:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Just found your Tr and it is great. You are a hoot! I have been cracking up the whole time.

I know the feeling...but I'm commited to see this TR thru to the end...though work is starting to get in the way now. :headache:

And don't pick on Don...that's my job.

Just found your Tr and it is great. You are a hoot! I have been cracking up the whole time.
Glad I can be entertaining...some people don't get my humor...some people get it about 10 minutes later...Like the can't sleep when someone else is driving bit...I was Driving to Atlanta for work with another guy...and I told him that...we were about half way there when he got it...he didn't go to sleep either.

:rotfl2::lmao: Hey... I resemble that remark. :rolleyes1
YES...yes you do.

OK...so we got done with the Haunted Mansion...and make a left and head into Fantasyland!!! :tink:

And here comes the unavoidable...it's a small world.

I've often wished they would install some form of gun on this ride so you could pick off those little singing dolls one after another...but it is what it is and it's only a 10 minute wait...so here we go...anyway Mel loves the ride...I don't hate this ride...I really don't...but but the time you get to the white room...you have to admit that song starts to get on the nerves a little.:crazy2:

I did get this picture...look at the shape of those blue vines on the right... They are also on the left...but not in this picture.
IMG_0434.jpg

We get done with IaSW...and I see the Peter Pan Fast Pass distribution is now closed...good thing I got my when I did...:thumbsup2 and we head to probably my favorite attraction at the Magic Kingdom...Mickey's Philharmagic.

On the way in on the wall with all the instruments painted on it you can find several "paint splatter" Mickeys...I see 2 in this picture...
IMG_0432.jpg

We get in and get our "Opry Glasses" and wait for them to open the Automagical Doors...and we go to get our seat...I hate it when people stop in the middle of the asile here and expect everyone to cross over them...:furious: ...I make it a point to try and step on their little selfish toes and go...Oh I'm so sorry...not kids mind you...they are only doing what their rude bleepidy-bleepen parents have told/taught them to do...but adults...you better be wearing steel toed shoes. :rolleyes1

Anyway we get our seats and there's a french horn shaped a little different on the stage arch on the right...sorry no picture...but you'll see it.

This is the best 3D show in all the parks...It features my man Donald!!!:donald: (Might I add that Donald reminds me and awful lot of Boy...they are very similar...I even can't understand what Boy says some of the time because he mumbles.)

Look near the end of the "Be our Guest" scene where there is a Mountain of Food and Donald is saying, "Where's my Hat?" near the top under a cake...it looks to me like there are som Berries or grape arranged like a Hidden Mickey in the film.

I love the scene with the Little Mermaid...the screen is fully opened for the first time...and those jewels are just float out to you...my next favorite sceen would have to be where Donald is flying thru the streets on the magic carpet...and the wind is blowing in your face. Cool!

Then like all good things it come to an end with poor ol' Donald getting blown thru the wall at the back of the theater by a tuba...we get out of the theater and usually pass up the gift shop...but we go in to look at what they have. I like the Donald up in the ceiling fighting with the horns...note the Music Stands...
IMG_0483.jpg

Then I look at the wall that would be the back of the theater and see OUR SHIRTS. I had told every one that I wanted to find a Shirt for all 4 of us to wear one day and have our Picture Made in Front of the Castle...I didn't like any of the Celibration T-Shirts i had seen...nor any of the "Four Parks One World" themed shirts. But this...this was the Shirt. I normally take a 2X...but these guys were huge...Tiny is the only one that took his normal size...They were quite pricey...but I had to get these...they were perfect...hadn't seen them on anyone else...and acording to the lady at the register they were the only one's that sold it being the it is a Philharmagic shirt. I never saw this shirt on anyone while I was down there...and trust me they stick out. Anyway we get our shirts sent to the Resort and off we go...to watch the show one more time. We all love it.

After our 2nd viewing we go ride Snow White...then Pooh. After Pooh we head to Toontown...and it starts to sprinkle...just a little... Mel Buys a pancho for her and Tiny...Boy and I say we are OK...Boy, Tiny and I go to Ride Goofy's Barnstormer...It's a short line because of the rain...so we ride it twice...I also found this...
IMG_0173.jpg

Meanwhile Mel is over in the Judges Tent looking at all the Character stuff in there...we meet her there and decide to Ride the Train around the Park...

While waiting for the Train to arrive it really Starts to Rain...and when it does arrive very Few people get off at Toon Town...so we split up...Mel and Tiny sit at the end of one bench and Boy and I get on another...

There are only 2 people in my row but Boy and I are sandwiched on there...I look over and see there is a bunch of room on the other side of the Lady sitting there and ask could she please scoot down and she did she move a tiny bit...then her husband...I assume...says "the seat is wet" and tells he not to move...I say...OK I'm sorry I didn't know...and though I'm slammed up against the Man I thought everything was cool...we approach the Main Street Staiton I ask him if he is getting off here...so I would know if I needed to clear the way for them to exit...He just stared at me like I had 4 -heads. :sad2:

Anyway the people sitting in the row with Mel and Tiny did leave so we get up there with them...never saw Mr. Snooty again... I won't call her snooty...she just didn't want to get wet...and they really weren't dressed for the Park either...so I get that.

We ride the Train back around to Toon Town...notice some actual live deer...near the fake ones between Frontierland and Toon Town too.

By this time the rain had stopped...and the temperature is now perfect...mind you it wasn't Florida hot...but it had been hot...now the rain had cooled it off...and it was still overcast. We head back to Fantasyland...we were getting hungry again...and wanted to see what Geppito's had to offer...we weren't interested...so then I remember seeing the Columbia Harbor House across from the Haunted Mansion...and we go check it out...we ended up eating there...I got the 10 peice Shrimp Dinner...(not listed on the menu...but on a display at the register)...Mel gets the Fish Platter...Boy gets Chicken Nuggets...Tiny says he's not hungry. My Shirmp was great...Boy seemed content with his Nuggets...but Mel's Fish...well it wasn't Long John's or Captain D's...I was barely better than a frozen fish plank out of the freezer section at your local grocery...so if you go there...get the shrimp...If you don't like shrimp...go somewhere else.

Next Installment... "Peter Pan...Wishes...Spectro Magic...EMH"
