My DD can't go with us on our trip this summer (we're not too sad, she's traveling to Europe on a school trip) and I would like to get her a nice tea assortment since she's started drinking hot tea and likes to try new ones. Where is the best place to buy it? I was thinking maybe England in Epcot might have some? Also, does anyone know if they also have a moderately priced Disney themed tea set or maybe just a teapot or teacups that can actually be used (not toys or decorative)? This is a little foreign to me, I like my tea cold and sweet :)

England does have a good tea assortment. There's also a cute Alice in Wonderland tea set that's available in several different stores (definitely World of Disney).

A few years ago my dd bought the sweetest Alice in Wonderland tea cup that she still uses. I can't remember what it cost, but I do remember thinking that it was quite reasonable. That was from the tea shop in England. There was quite an assortment of tea there as well, but I also remember seeing various packs of Wonderland tea in different flavours in a variety of stores. I think that it was the Emporium in MK that also had them.

There are some really cute Alice in Wonderland tea sets, mugs and I think a teapot as well. I'm not really a big tea drinker but these are really tempting. Not sure about price but with different options I'm sure there's something that fits in the budget. Ive seen the stuff in the World of Disney, the kitchen ware shop in liberty square (near the haunted mansion), and I'll bet the are in some of the other big shops.

As others have said, there are some great Alice themed sets. I was very tempted by a box that had 4 different blends of tea. That one was around the $17 I think. They have a stunning tea press around the $20 mark too. I saw them at Goofy's candy co.

I love Twinings tea, so I always go by the Twinings store in England- EPCOT. If you sign up to take the tea tour they give you a couple of free samples to take home.
The CM's there can also tell you which teas they carry that are only available at certain times of the year.

If your DD likes loose teas, they sell the cutest Mickey head shaped tea holder. I have always wanted one- but I only drink the bags.

I think your gift will be a fun, personal gift and a great idea.:thumbsup2

I bought tea at Mickeys Pantry in downtown disney. I think it was called the unbirthday tea and has Alice and the mad hatter on the canister. Very cute souvenir. I think they had other choices of teas also.

Thank-you, it sounds like I'll have plenty of options:thumbsup2

She only uses the bags, but that may be because it's all she's familiar with so I might take a look at some loose tea options, too.

An Alice tea cup would be perfect, she would really like that.

LOVE the Twinings shop at Epcot! If you need a specific tea (i buy tea for my Aunt that soothes the throat-she gets laryngitis a lot), the girls in the shop always know what to recommend!

Definitely go to England in Epcot for teas. They have a great assortment. I can tell you also that Alice in Wonderland Tea Set is very nice and affordable. I bought one of the mugs and it was only $11 or $12 I believe. I really want the teapot too and I kick myself for not getting it when I was there. It was $25 when I was there 2 years ago, but I wouldn't be surprised if it went up a few dollars since then.

I got the Alice teapot with an assortment of tea bags. I want to say it was about $45-ish. Super cute though!!

I think the Twinings shop also has some Royal Dalton teacups. If she likes dainty.

China has a huge selection of cast iron and pottery tea pots. Some really nice ones very reasonably priced.

I'm just going to reiterate what others have said, the Alice in Wonderland tea sets are pretty awesome. I know in MK they sell that at a few shops on Main Street, they will definitely have it in Downtown Disney as well. I bought my sister a Mad Hatter mug and she adores it. The also have a teapot, several other themed mugs, and different tea variety packs as well. China and England will definitely have tea as well though it won't be the "Disney themed" tea.

My dd(19) and I love the Mad Hatter tea blend( not sure of the exact name). We had it at the Afternoon Tea at the GF and now it's a must have souvenir!
