OHHHHHH! Cheese Curds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every year we go to the Big E, a huge New England fair, and I always split a big order of these yummy bites with my DDIL. We love them!Agreed! I live in the Midwest, my sister in Texas. Neither of us would consider Texas Midwest!
I vote for cheese curds and runzas on the menu.![]()
Seriously LOL at this one! DH and I were reviewing menus, and are quite disappointed in the kid "choices".
there you go! no offense intended, it was a quickie. I'm an east coaster, you know to us it's all "middle of the country" but cheese curds sounds great. have to google the other!
You need to know that a full turkey dinner on a sandwich is one of the most amazing things on the planet. Though sub stuffing for mashed potatoes and cranberries for the veggies. MUST have gravy. MUST have mayo. It is a big thing here in new england - it's called a pilgrim or a puritan or named after some specific dead patriot dude but it is heaven on a sandwich is what it is. They should serve that at Liberty Inn in American Adventure. We also make them at home for breakfast after thanksgiving and my boyfriend calls it the "morning after sandwich"![]()
I'd cut the person who is spending all day dishing up turkey dinners a little bit of slack when they don't know how to react to being suddenly promoted to chef.
This is my absolutely favorite part of Thanksgiving! I thought everyone ate these though (I'm a California gal). You totally nailed all of the 'must haves' for that dish, but don't forget the all-important side: a thin slice of pumpkin/apple/pecan pie <~ yes, all three. You need to know that a full turkey dinner on a sandwich is one of the most amazing things on the planet. LOL 'roll' with itMy son once tried to order a hot dog without a bun at Caseys. CM said they couldn't sell it without the bun. Little guy said but I don't want a bun, CM checked with other person working who said no as well. Little guy started to get upset, so I said just take the darn hot dog kiddo. We walked over to the trash can and threw the bun away. Viola, one hot dog without a bun. Sometimes kids just have to learn to roll with it.![]()

Me too! Ugh, so irritating!
...where can I lodge a complaint?
You must live right by me, because I can't tell you how many times I've had to explain what the big E is!!! Now I'm really drooling!!!
I've only been to the Big E once. Not much desire to go back, but if I did, the prime item on my menu would be the smoked (kippered) salmon on a stick.OHHHHHH! Cheese Curds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
