Where can I find personlized stuff for my daughter?

I'm looking for pencils, necklaces, bracelets, who knows... for my dd for Christmas. Her name is never one of the one's on the store shelves. Does anyone have a suggestion for an online store that has personalized stuff?

I was going to suggest Lillian Vernon too, for things like pencils, pencil cases, etc.

You didn't say how old your DD is, but mine got a large bead/jewelry kit a couple Christmases ago. It had regular colored beads, plus a bunch of alphabet beads. She LOVED making her own name bracelets and keychains (not that she has any keys, but she hung it on her backpack). You can get the kits at Michaels in the kid/toy section. Usually great prices on Black Friday or with a 40% off coupon.

She has a name that is not especially uncommon, but it is NEVER on the license plates/waterbottles/keychains/etc. She gets so irritated when we find her sister's name on something, but not hers.

ETA: Check out any large craft shows in your area, too. We have gotten ornaments, necklaces, art boxes, etc. at our local craft show every November. The vendors generally personalize them on the spot, so you can get any name you want!

For Christmas ornaments, look at bronners.com. They have lots of neat ones for all sorts of interests! We had to laugh because the catalog had some appropriate examples for our family. My DD13 likes art, and the catalog's paint palette ornament had her name on it. Also, our new niece's name was on a "Baby's First Christmas" ornament.

Disneystore.com has free personalization on items right now. You can get the fleece throw with a character, personalized for $12.50--which I believe includes shipping. There are also several other items to choose from.

DD has a Tiana throw and uses it constantly. I just ordered two more last week for Christmas gifts, the Mickey one and the Toy Story one. They are already here and are adorable!

I know what you mean. My daughter, Jenah never finds her name, at least not spelled right. She gets mad because her brothers always have their name, Jacob and Joshua. (No we didn't originally plan on all "J" names, it just worked out that way for the boys so we did decide to go with the flow for Jenah)

I forget where we were but we saw something that rather than a name had something with "they didn't have my name" or something like that written on it. I thought it was amusing.

I'll have to check some of these out. We did get all of us personalized ears at WDW so she has something with her name on it.

I like the idea of the beads, she can make her own bracelet. She likes being artistic, drawing and crafts. She is 8.
