Where can I find Lox?

I was about to break down and schedule lunch at Askershus. My dd8 has outgrown the princesses, but I love their cold board, and I love lox!

After checking out the $41.00 price tag, , I'm now looking for another option.

Can someone share with me where I might be able to find lox on a buffet? I'd prefer it for lunch, but I realize it's most likely going to be offered for b/f so I'd be willing to check out those options too.

We haven't been there since 2008, but the breakfast buffet at Cape May Cafe used to have smoked salmon with the bagels and cream cheeses. I think I even remember capers, though as I said, it's been quite a while. A last breakfast seating there IMO is brunch so that would work as lunch.

Hopefully somebody will be able to confirm if it's still there.

Interesting--just searched lox using the Dining search engine and and got nothing, then searched smoked salmon and got a listing for the Garden Grille that clearly stated they had lox and a bagel for breakfast. There is also a smoked salmon pizza at Wolfgang Puck's Dining Room, smoked salmon on the b'fast buffet @ the Yachtsman and a few other places where it is mainly an appetizer.

The Yachtsman doesnt do breakfast but we have seen lox on all the breakfast buffets

I have not gotten anything to eat for awhile at the bakery in Norway -- but DH use to get lox with scrambled eggs (on something) there and always liked it.
Don't you like how I was so vague? But at least look in the Kringla Bakeri in Norway to see if they still have that option.

They had it at the Crystal Palace breakfast buffet when we went in Aug. It was really delicious!

Garden Grill no longer serves either breakfast or lunch. Yachtsman does not serve breakfast - the YC restaurant that does is Captain's Grille. Cheshire Figment already mentioned it as serving lox at breakfast.

They used to serve lox and bagels at Starring Rolls in DHS (a CS), that also has been discontinued.

They have smoked salmon at the Cape May Cafe breakfast buffet.

They have very delicious 'Pastrami Smoked Salmon' on the breakfast buffet at Crystal Palace.
