Where can I find fried catfish? Someone told my mom that Cap'n Jack's offers fried catfish, but I checked out the menu on allearsnet.com and I didn't see it there. Help would be appreciated.
Garden Grill in Epcot which is a character meal serves fried catfish. Not sure who else does, you might check out the menus on allearsnet.com They list every WDW restaurant, its a great resource.
They have fried catfish nuggets are House of Blues at Downtown Disney. They also have fried catfish at the Garden Grill in Epcot. We are from Louisiana and our fried catfish is not the same as Florida fried catfish. The House of Blues fish was the closest it came to Louisiana fried catfish.
I love the Garden Grill fried catfish!!!!!
I make catfish at least once a week at home. GG's is the best I have ever personally tried. It is crisp and seasoned on the outside, yet the inside is flakey and light. I still drool over it!!!!

I'm from Texas, but agree with this. The catfish at House of Blues is very good. The catfish at GG is OK, but doesn't taste like good ole' southern catfish.

Well, the HOB catfish is close to Cajun catfish, in that it's cornmeal dipped, but far, far off in that there don't seem to be any seasonings added to the cornmeal. Bleh... These were the blandest things we've ever eaten. I, too, am from Louisiana, and would be embarrassed to serve someone catfish like this. I wouldn't recommend it at all.
IMO the catfish is very bland at GG, as previously posted: since I grew to love catfish while working in Alabama, I have found that ordering a bottle of tobasco sauce is a must at GG.
