I am going to WDW in August and i was wondering were would be a good place to get tradable pins in a lot. these pins would be for my daughter to trade, if anyone could gave me a ebay seller of a site to go to it would be apprecatied.

try the seller pinscheap on ebay- look him up by seller- I believe the pins are for trade and are either 1.99 each or sold in larger lots as well for the same price.

Mousepinsonline.com, I have used and trust them. Some people have issues with them, but I purchased for my daughter to trade and there is no reason to pay more then what they charge.

They sell pro-pins, nothing wrong with those, however most CM lanyards are starting to fill up with these cheaper pins due to these being traded at the parks, etc. It's a bit fustrating for those who purchase pins from Disney and then end up with these of less quality. While they do carry the copyright of Disney they are not the same as the pins you'll find at the parks, resorts, etc. Just a heads up, it's hard to tell by the photos but they are just not the same.

Well then don't trade for them. And if you do get one of them then trade it on the next lanyard you see. My child didn't know the differance she was more interested in wether it was a princess, mickey or other character. So spending more on "better" quality pins wouldn't have been smart.

I think the part of the reason for the comment was that some people had been given a hard time by CM's when trading and this had not been a very magical experience.

I sorta feel the same way.. my child just wants the experience... she doesn't care if the pin has the mickey ears, limited.. real or sedesma... its just the character.... I am glad they do have some lanyards just for kids.. the green ones... kids don't care .. some do maybe... but my 4 yr old doesn't..

Well then those cast members and their "elitest" attitudes should be reported. They don't pay for their pins, they are issued them to trade and give their lanyards back at the end of the shift. If they want to "trade" with their snobby attitudes then they should do it on their own time, and remember when on the clock they represent Disney. Disney authorized these other companies to make pins and if they didn't like the quality they should have stopped the presses. They have now removed these licenses but what is out there is still tradeable based on Disney's "Rules". If they don't want these pins out there, then maybe they should buy up the remainders and when they do appear on lanyards, dispose of them each evening. Do a sort of Pin Recall.

If you want to trade and have a good time without enlarging the Disney Machine, then check out Mousepinsonline.com. I agree they are not the same as the overpriced Disney Pins,I thought they were nice though and my 3 year old daughter didn't care. She just enjoyed trading and if a Disney Cast Member wants to give her grief, then good luck keeping that job. I hear McDonalds needs some fry cooks.

Sorry if I sound bitter, but this is another sign of Customer Service just falling by the way side. And this is suppose to be the most "magical" place on earth.

I didn't mean to sound rude or anything. Before I started pin trading I didn't know the difference was just giving a heads up. I agree with you it can be expensive and I'm not saying there is anything wrong with these pins just explaining their difference.

Pin trading can be lots of fun and I hope you and your daughter have a great time. Watch out though it can be addictive... =o)

Back to the original topic.....
You might want to visit the Disney Store at your local mall (if you still have a Disney Store) They have cards with 3 Narnia pins on it for $7.50 (works out to $2.50/pin). Plus you don't have shipping cost and no hassles with CMs.
