We're taking our daughter and two grands (age 9 and 11) in mid November. Sorta last minute. Finding a room was tough as we're deluxe folks and wanted a nice place...that sleeps 5. Everything was booked just about.
Finally found a room at the contemporary, club level.
Booked it.
Hubby never liked the vibe at the contemporary so I kept looking.
A club level opened at the Polynesian.
Booked it. Freeing up a Contemp. club.
But...truth be told we wanted AKL. Kidani had openings but I kept refreshing. All I saw was rooms disappearing, not appearing.
Finally just booked TWO rooms in AKL hopefully connected, freeing up the Poly club room.
My purpose of this is to encourage you to keep looking if there's somewhere you want. Book a place you're okay with but keep looking! Chances are I'm out there, changing a reservation, haha.
