THe truth of the matter about "real" planes is that a lot of times you can buy a "real" one for less than a new Corvette! Plus, they retain their value, actually appreciate. We sold our last one (1977 model Piper) for more than we paid for it 4 years earlier! Upkeep is a PITA though! R/C ones are cheaper and you don't have to buy insurance!
crz4mm2, I know what you mean about those "events". DH is supposed to go to one in a few weeks, a "Swap meet"
