Under alert for severe storms today...... hoping for just plain old thunderstorms. Pool water at 96 degrees after 4 days of 100+ feel like temperatures. Needs to cool down a little!

No it doesn't! NOT "refreshing" but did about an inch of rain this afternoon which will cool it down a little! It's been a warm week and probably only get worse...summer in Texas! Sure have been getting work done on my current INDOOR projects though!

Very disheartening news today. Sara's sister-in-law, Courtney and her kids, were at DW when they were. They met for dinner the last day Sara & the girls were there. Courtney's sister was traveling with them but she wasn't feeling well so she skipped the dinner; this was Friday evening. Last night, while in the shower, she had a stroke! Courtney finally got to call Sara earlier today after emergency surgery. Courtney put the kids on a plane back to Louisiana early this morning and has been at the Celebration Hospital ICU, by herself, until other family arrives. This young lady is in her late '30's! Prognosis is not good. Can you imagine having something like this happen to your family at Disney World!

I know! I've been thinking of them constantly! Courtney has to be going out of her mind with worry! Sara would have flown right back to Orlando to be with her but she's at dance competition in Corpus Christi this week; she keeps track of all the dancers scores for the entire 5 days so she couldn't get out of that trip. Allie's going to Alabama to spend time with her high school best friend and Courtney's husband is on summer maneuvers with the Louisiana National Guard; he's a Colonial in the Guard and must also be in attendance for maneuvers. She's on her home until extended family can get her parents there.
