Where Are Your Favorite Places To Dine, And To Snack At Dl. And At DCA?

Thank you everyone, I was thinking that I might need to save the picture then upload it to photobucket, however, since until recently just copying the url and posting was working very nicely. ;) That is so much easier for me, then to have to do the previous. I am trying to remember my password as well for photobucket. (ugh)

For a quick snack nothing beats a freshly made cherry coke and mickey shaped pretzel with cheese from the Refreshment Corner on Main Street.

We also like the chicke pasta and focacia at Redd Rocket's, the Pacific Wharf Boudin Bakery (DH likes the roast beef sandwich and I like the Sonoma Chicken salad) and of course a chocolate covered "Mickey on a Stick" ice cream bar.

Oh yeah, can't forget Tigger Tails and the pieces of peanut butter fudge that are dipped in chocolate and then have a little Pooh face candy on them. Absolutely delicious!!!

That all sounds very tasty indeed! :)
I don't believe I have seen the Mickey shaped pretzels before, sounds intriguing.

Mmm they are wonderful. We had them last trip with fruit for lunch one day last year and it was so darn good.

What kind of cheese is it? please.....
Is there a conspiracy going on by at&t, by increasing the price for dial up, then I swear, making that connection, twice as slow. I almost fell asleep here, waiting for this page to finish d/l. Geese!

I think this is interesting, ;) I just finished reading a listing for Churros, viasnackcarts
and unless I missed it somewhere, it appears that you have to go to DCA, for a churro, weird!
I saw that the dipping sauces that are available are Chocolate and Caramel for $2.75 ea. the same price as for the churro.

I did know the DCA thing. We kept going all the way from DL to DCA to get one ROFL

BUT what the crud? Um..I'll just buy two churros LOL

I know, it is interesting that the price for the dipping sauce is the same as for the churro. I don't think that the information is incorrect either, so unless it is a tremendous amount dipping delight, a decent price would be more like .75 cents!

My favorite place for breakfast is RiverBelle Terrace-I love watching them make the MM pancakes they make it look so easy. For lunch, I like going to the French Market for the french dip and their yummy fries, however, I hear they don't have the french dip anymore :sad2: and for dinner nothing beats BB.

We have enjoyed many a breakfast at the Riverbelle. It isn't a trip for our kids if we don't visit there. My favorite lunch is at the Hungry Bear. Not because the food is great or anything but because I enjoy sitting on the bottom floor and enjoying the shade and watching the Rivers of America. We love the Blue Bayou and we will be enjoying a meal there in September.

I'd be willing to pay the extra for some carmel dipping sauce! When we went last September they told me it was no longer available. Maybe what the cm meant was that he was out for the day? Anyway, glad to hear it is back!

I like churros, and I love chocolate, I have not tried, so far anyway, the churros with chocolate.
I still think that maybe, the price for the sauces are not correct, that is what the source stated though.

We love White Water Snacks at GCH for the beef nachos and quite time away from the park. We plan to go there at least twice during our next trip which is only 7 weeks away now...eeek.

I can't wait to try Blue Bayou, it's definitely on our list for this trip.

Thanks to everyone for their recommendations.

I continue to read, very good reports of the food, at White Water Snacks.
I may just have to sample, some of their snacking delights.

Hard to beat Plaza Inn....I read that Walt's wife designed it and they both knew it would be a place where a family could go and have a good dinner together.

We love Wine Country Trattoria and Carnation Cafe. :thumbsup2 We also love the Pizza Port for the salads and pasta.

Yummy! is the first word that comes to mind, for everyones posts. :) :flower:
May have to try the bacon wrapped asparagus thingy. :)
