Where are you vacationing this year "non disney"

We did some major home renovations this year, so we're talking the year off from Disney. :sad1:

We're going camping at Mammoth Cave, KY on our way to a family reunion for DH in Illinois. That's our only "big" trip. We have several overnight/local trips planned as well.

In the meantime, I'm planning planning planning for our Disney trip next year. ;)

Love Mammoth Cave! Take one of the guided tours - they are really worthwhile.

Went to Treasure Island FLroida in April and absolutly LOVED IT!! We stayed at Sunset Vistas - A condo resort in the St Pete Beach area, on the beach, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen condo, kiddie pool, big pools, tiki bar, close to everything, you name it - FABULOUS!!

And not to mention a FRACTION of the price of WDW.... always nice to alternate disney and non disney years. We will certainly go back again and even considered purchasing a condo there!

Thinking about doing WDW in October 2010 instead of April 2011 for the Free Dining promo... then considering a week away in April 2011 w/o the kiddos... But just an idea...

Soon:cool1:going to Miami-South Beach for 2 nights, then cruising all beach stops (half moon cay, grand turk & nassau-atlantis aqua adventure park).

End of July the mr & I r sneaking off somewhere for 2 or 3 nights...was supposed to be now-cancelled space shuttle launch:rolleyes1not sure what we're doing now

I won't give up our Halloween trip to Orlando ;)

I'm going on a few long weekends to Charlotte, NC to see several broadway musicals.

Going this weekend to see "Wicked" and a weekend in August to see "Mary Poppins".

On tap for the rest of the year...
May- MD to visit family
June- Williamsburg/Busch Gardens/Water Country
July- Hilton Head, SC
July- Washington, DC
August- Myrtle Beach, SC
October- 7 Nights in Orlando WDW, US, Sea World, Aquatica, BG
November- MD to visit family
December- Maybe skiing for Christmas (VA most likely)

Headed to the Jersey Shore in July where we'll plan our 2011 Marathon Weekend trip. :thumbsup2

We're doing a North Conway/northern NH trip this summer - Santa's Village and Storyland!!

This week we are in Williamsburg, VA and Washington, D.C. We are having a great time despite the rain earlier in the week.

We're doing a North Conway/northern NH trip this summer - Santa's Village and Storyland!!

Nice!!! Storyland opens in a couple weeks... And hopefully no paving this year, so traffice should be bearable!!! Hope you have a nice visit!!! :)

My DS really wants to go play in the sand at Myrtle Beach! Pretty much everyday he lets me know he wants go...So plans are being made :cheer2:

We're headed to the Riviera Maya region of Mexico for a week in June and then going to Rehoboth Beach & Washington DC for a 9 days in July.

This is our first year in 8 that we won't be going to Disney but the kids are getting older and have asked for a change of pace.

We were planning to rent a house on a lake in the Adirondacks. However, I've been putting off reserving a place because I'm part of the state workforce threatened with furloughs. So, we may not take a vacation, or we may go out of state if we do.

We are doing a timeshare week in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Quaint, eccentirc town with lots of history. And very near a beautiful lake. We also have a place at Lake Texoma (between Texas and Oklahoma) and we are lake rats!
