i was just thinking about how a lot of the rooms at BWV seem to be really far from the elevator bank.

but i've seen people mention how you can use the stairs and exit out of the resort from a different exit than through the lobby.

where are these stairwells, and where are the exits from these stairwells?
for example, is there one at the end of the boardwalk near Atlantic Dance Hall?

yes - the stair wells are plainly marked on your way to your room just look for them.

just don't plan on trying to go back up them - they say you can use your key and get in the lock - well the only one I found that you can actually do this is the one on the end next to the cars. but hey that is one of my main entrances so I am happy!

I know there are stairs on the end near the parking lot, across from room x121. They are actually a fire exit and there is a sign to only use them in an emergency, but we used them when we stayed in room 3121. They come out on the first floor, you can either go out to the quiet pool or out towards the parking lot. There are also stairs where the floor splits off above the main pool. I've only been on that end, I've never had a room on the hall to the left when getting off the elevator.

Like with all hotels, there are lots of stairwells at BWV. We had one that took us out near the canal between the quiet pool and Luna Park pool. It worked out great because it set us up for a much shorter walk to MGM Studios and gave us good access to the pools.

We got our key to work on the stairwell in the corner by the main pool - the one to the right when you face the building, kind of behind the bar area. The closest stairway to our room was the one that ends up behind the quiet pool, just to the left when facing the building. We couldn't get back in this one, but it was close enough to the other that it wasn't a big deal. Very handy to go in and out that way rather than all the way through the lobby. Our room was facing the quiet pool, just about the middle of the section straight across from community hall.

The one I mentioned did not have the "fire exit only" sign on it....it was a general access stairway (with the room key). Seems to me that the room key didn't work after a certain point at night...but I'm fuzzy on that one.
