Where are the $77 rooms???

I would love to take my daughter on a short Disney trip before her world is rocked by the arrival of her sibling. So when I am looking at room rates, it says "Rooms from $77 to $131 per night**" on the value resorts. I cannot find a single night that is $77. Even during the value season.

Am I clueless or is their wording a little off? BTW I could not find what the "**" was refering too anywhere!

For what it's worth, I just stayed at POP for $77 (plus taxes) on 12/1. That's the rack rate I got from the Disney website without any discounts or codes or anything.

$77 is the rack rate during value season. What dates are you looking ofr?

My dates are WIDE open and I read on mousesavers that the value season is until Feb 15th???

We were able to book them through Travelocity. $78.97

I booked POP 1/1-1/7 for $63 a night with AAA. That was in August but I jumped on it.

you got the rack rate of $77

plus tax

$77 + 11.5% (at all star this 13%) = $85.86

as already stated above by bicker - was just able to book Disneys All Star on travelocity for $78.97

The dates are tried were for Jan and Feb. Good luck and early congrats on your daughter's soon-to-be sibling!

I booked one night at POP in Feb 06 at a AAA rate of $70, tax included. Without AAA it would have been $77 plus tax. That's for value season, standard room.

I'm booked at ASMovies in January for $49 a night with the AP discount.

OH - they already included taxes... now I feel dumb! Thanks everyone! I am even looking into joining AAA for the extra discount!

don't join AAA for the discounts - join it for the service.

they will come and toke your car - either 5 miles or 100 miles (premium plan).

also with the premium plan they will bring you gas if your car runs out of it. (I haven't used this one - been too afraid of being stuck along the interstate...)

however I have gotten a flat before and they were great.

a couple of times car trouble for the toking service.
