Where are my ADRS?-Disney site- UPDATE!! Post 570 pg 38

I checked my ADRs tonight and also had some missing.I thought to check here to see if anyone else was having an issue and knew I would get an answer. Gotta love the DIS Boards!:cool1:
 
I don't know if they have quotas. And I think I would have been okay if she had said they were busy and ask if I could call back later. In my mind, I was already thinking that could happen because I was calling in the morning. But, verbatim, what she said was "I am not checking nothing." and her tone was what I would call hostile. So I could have hit her after a rude phone call, or before she had her coffee. I don't know. Thankfully the 2nd woman was more helpful.

Oh, like I said, "While I don't think it's right *at all*"... :) And what she actually said to you is beyond bad...maybe you wrote down your name and can call next week and maybe get to a manager?

Some posters have commented on the quotas the CMs may or may not have. Seems to me, in this kind of huge debacle, they shouldn't have to adhere to quotas! This thing, while probably not UNEXPECTED in techy-world, is a huge inconvenience. It's going to be squirrely tomorrow!

OH, if only they would just drop the quotas, but just going by where I worked, they would just tell you to make it up on other days. No sympathy or empathy, and we had a CEO who wanted us to be the most customer centric company! Let alone Disney, where phone support has always been a bit iffy.
 
I'm glad I came here first when I saw missing ADRs. Here's hoping it's all fixed after the next scheduled maintenance. *fingers crossed*
 
Well since the next round of maintenance is today, I guess I (and we) will all wait to see what happens next. I don't have any of my ADRs showing and can't pull them when I try. I'm talking about TWO different trips and 30 days worth of ADRs. Nothing I can do about it at this point. I do need to cancel one of my ADRs, so I keep checking to see if I can pull it up.
 

Maybe I am missing something but if it is just a glitch with the online reservations systems why are people worried? The restaurants don't refer to this system when you turn up there so as long as you have made the ADR in the first place you are OK - you don't even need a confirmation number, just turn up at the right time and give your name.

If you need to cancel an ADR you can just call them up and do it.

I know it's my fault, but I didn't write down my times/days. I know the 6 places I picked, but I kept changing them around. Without it coming back up I have no idea where to show up!

My confirmation numbers must have gone to my spam filter, because none of them are in my email!

Oops! I would just give them a call then and do it that way.
 
just check the site again, still only 5 of my ADR's are showing, do have all my conf # so know I'm okay, hope this problems will clear up the next few days after todays "Updates"!
 
Does anyone know what time the update is today?? TIA :) Mine still only shows 5 of 12 :(

I tried that -- got disconnected twice after waiting on hold forever. You can't "just call them up and do it" right now. I may just have to wait until I am there and then do it in person.
 
Only 6 of the 18 ADRs I have are showing at this time. As a PP mentioned, those 6 include my character breakfasts so there may be something to that. I was able to cancel a new ADR and add another one today. The new one is one of the 6 that is showing.

Soooooo...I got a little antsy even though I told myself that I would give them until Thursday to get everything ironed out. I mean I have 12 ADRs that I cannot see!! So I called. I just couldn't take it! :scared:

I sat on hold for about 3 minutes and then was connected with the nicest lady!! I told her that I had 18 ADRs and that most of them were not showing and that I just wanted to verify that they were in the system. I told her that I didn't expect her to check each one but could she just peak and see if they were all there. She told me "I don't mind checking for you at all but let me just read each one of them off to you so you can have peace of mind that they are all there." Well they are all there!! And so is my BBB reservation. :banana: She told me just to keep my numbers on me and don't worry about the system because it is going to go down 2 or 3 more times before our Dec. trip. She was absolutly delightful and told me that it was no bother for her to do that for me and that if I wanted to call back right before my trip to double check I was welcome to do that but that I really shouldn't worry.

So here's hoping she is as right as she was sweet!! I have all my e-mails saved and have a list with all my ADR #s and times and I have verbal confirmation that they are still there. I just wanted to share my experience because I really think everyone's ADRs are going to be fine. (Crossing fingers!!)
 
My disney dining CM gave a couple of reservation number, which I cannot pull up still by using the reservation retrieval. I called 407-939-7765 option 2, they informed me that ALL systems should be back to full functionality by Oct 20th.

Now for something I need to get off my chest. For those of you that made duplicate reservations, you are inconveniencing other guests who need to make their own reservations. For those of you who have been patient, thanks. :yay:

System is due to be taken down at 6pm today (October 19) and they anticipate the upgrade/work will be completed by tomorrow morning (October 20).

Anxious to see my ADRs, but I'm going to try and wait 'til the end of the week... give it some time to settle. Grateful we don't leave for a few weeks. I would be a bit more upset/panicked if we were leaving in the near future.

You know...the quota thing makes my attempt to cancel a reservation yesterday morning make a little sense now. After going through the basic message, I went right through to a very nice-sounding cast member who asked if she could book dining reservations or Cirque du Soleil tickets for me. As soon as I said I was actually calling to cancel a dining reservation she said (still very politely) "Oh, you know, our system is down right now. But it may be up later today if you wanted to call back." Again, this was YESTERDAY - not a day of scheduled down-time. I decided I'd just wait until AFTER the maintenance/whatever on the 20th to call back and cancel it. But I did find it sort of interesting that until I said I was needing to cancel a reservation no mention was made that the system was down.

But if there really are quotas, that makes a little sense. Though really...it's not the CM's fault that a reservation is being cancelled, so I don't think that should be held against them.

Unfortunately, that isn't true for everyone. I have a character meal scheduled for every day we are there and none of them show up online.
 
The system has been down for a couple of weeks. Checked my ADR's on Sunday 10/17/10 and only one showed up. Called Disney Dining and was told the system would be down for probably another week and my ADR's would not appear online due to the glitch in the system. My adr's were all confirmed by the CM.
