Where are my ADRS?-Disney site- UPDATE!! Post 570 pg 38

Well, after the first CM told me no - I did call back. When I asked this CM if she would mind checking she said "That is what I'm here for" and was as nice as can be. She said she felt for everyone having to double check things and understood.

Mine are all there.

While I know it is just food - part of going to WDW are character meals for us. So it is nice to know that part of the magic has not been removed.

Good luck to everyone else, and I guess to all of us for the next round of upgrades.

While I don't think it's right *at all*, I can see how the CMs are getting freaked out about all these calls. Aren't the CMs held to quotas? And checking already-made ADRs isn't fulfilling their quotas. I know from my CS days...doesn't matter what else you're doing, the metrics are the metrics, and if you don't make x amount of whatever-your-quota-criterion is, you're getting dinged at review-time. Hopefully the Disney CS higherups will recognize this (and perhaps charge their IT department for all the hours LOL), but I really doubt it, from past experience in CS... "it's only 4 days, make it up the rest of the week/month!"

Anyway, dato63, I'm glad you got someone better this time. :)

HLAuburn...the CM said it was the first she was hearing about it? I think she must have just come back from vacation and hadn't yet checked in with any official info... I mean, that's funny of her to say, don't you think? :upsidedow

mine are still missing :( im holding off till 21st to call. I cant even access my vacation to look at my resort booking, it keeps going blank and saying browser problems. Is that my computer or the site?

Yeah, I was a little surprised! I almost feel better if tons of people are calling and everyone's having the same issues. When she said I was the first to bring it to her attention and they told me to call technical support, it made me worry even more! She was as helpful as she could be though.

The second time I called back, the CM said she was aware of the problem, but wasn't very willing to check my reservations or help me out. :confused3 She was a little fixated that I was double booked one day and was eager to cancel one though! :rotfl:

I just got off the phone with Disney because I couldn't stop worrying about my ADRs. I know everyone has had good luck with it and their reservations have been there but well..I accept my paranoia and called anyway. Dolores was very kind about the whole thing and said she'd been dealing with lots of calls from people checking on their ADRs. Everything of mine was there. She said the updates and upgrades should be done by the 20th but "hey it's computers, you never know quite how they'll react".

yesterday 3 of 11 showed up...called and gave cell, work and FL cell numbers...they pulled up all the ADR's i had....will check again on the 21st and again before we leave and bring all print outs with us.

half of mine are still missing. I haven't called yet waiting on the next round of updates first but you can bet on the 21st I will be checking first thing that morning.
On a bright note I was glad to hear that someone was there and didn't have problems at the resturant at DTD. I do have my conf numbers printed from where I made them from Disney that I printed out and plan to bring on our trip.

I don't know if they have quotas. And I think I would have been okay if she had said they were busy and ask if I could call back later. In my mind, I was already thinking that could happen because I was calling in the morning. But, verbatim, what she said was "I am not checking nothing." and her tone was what I would call hostile. So I could have hit her after a rude phone call, or before she had her coffee. I don't know. Thankfully the 2nd woman was more helpful.

I could have / should have / would have waited until Wednesday to see if they repopulated but some of the posts where people checked just to find out their ADRs were totally gone concerned me.

After days of not seeing my ADRs and after making some additions (which necessitates some cancellations), I finally tried calling Disney. Sat on hold for a long time, started talking to somene, and next thing I knew I was being asked to complete the survey. And then I couldn't access the survey. Started over, called again, sat on hold, when I was transferred this time, I heard breathing and coughing and laughing in the background, but no one spoke to me. About a minute later I was back in the survey again. This time I was able to access it and of course, gave all low ratings. No my issues isn't resolved. No, this isn't the first time I called. And tomorrow everything is supposed to be down again. And I did not get e-mail confirmations of all my reservations. So now, yes, I am starting to worry. 14 days to go, I hope I can get in soon.

Has anyone called this morning?

I had checked verbally yesterday to make sure the important ones were still in their system, even though I could not pull them up. A very nice CM went through those and it was comforting. I didn't want to tie her up - so told her I'd call back later to check the remaining ones.

I called this morning and the CM told me they were no longer allowed to verbally verify anyones ADRs. I told her that I would call back and see if another CM might be able to help. She got testy when I said that. Granted, it is early - she could have thought I was trying to be ugly. But my viewpoint was she didn't have time - it is early and they could be swamped. So later someone might have time - truly not my thought to be rude. But it could have come across that way.

I was just curious if anyone else got that response. I can see they are probably extra busy with making new ones, cancelling old ones (since we can not cancel our own) and checking for people who are missing them.

I called this morning as well, my CM didn't even offer to look up my ADR's just kind of made a blanket statement, that Yes they are aware of the problem, I guarantee your reservations are fine and all should be fixed by the 20th. She was nice about it and so was I. I just figured I have the confirmation #'s and if there is problem after the 20th, then it is their problem and they will have to fix it. Hoping anyway. :goodvibes

After seeing this thread, I checked my 20 ADRs for January 2011. 7 of 20 were missing. I called, and spoke to a CM after waiting 10 minutes and she confirmed that all 20 were there and was willing to read them off to me.

Like others, I will check again after the next round of system updates and closer to our departure date.

I was happy to hear that they still had them in the system though as I had an ADR for Le Cellier that I was not going to be able to duplicate.

I called Disney as well after not seeing any of my reservations for March. All of mine were in their system. I talked with Dolores as well who was very nice and she said after the 20th they should all show up. I will check next week.

Question for people calling-when you ask the CM's to confirm your ADR's, are you just giving them your phone #, or your name too? And confirmation #'s if you have them? I'm just asking because I want to call, but half of my ADR's are in my maiden name and half are in my married name and I'm afraid when they see that, they will think I'm a different person and cancel them or something!

I haven't called because I haven't had time yet, but 2 of my ressies are still not showing up...

when i called to check, the cm used my phone number to pull them all up because she said it was faster than looking up each one by confirmation number.:)

still can't find any of mine, and when I am on hold no background music and I keep getting disconnected. :confused3

Last name and phone number, not confirmation numbers.

I called tonight while my dinner was in the oven, and I had a very sweet CM. She gave me the blanket statement about how the system is being updated and assured me that they were still there. I was going to ask if she could check but befor I could she asked for my phone # and in about a minute was confirming all my ADR's!

I said you must be going crazy with everyone calling and she said it's not so bad today but I think it might get worse tomorrow! Then she wished me a "Magical Evening" and hung up!

When I checked yesterday and today, I got the message, "We are unable to retrieve dining reservations at this time. Please check back later." I take that to mean that it's not my ADRs but the system. It does happen.

I'm not going to panic; I'm going to give them the chance to fix the issue. I have no doubt that they will.

Some posters have commented on the quotas the CMs may or may not have. Seems to me, in this kind of huge debacle, they shouldn't have to adhere to quotas! This thing, while probably not UNEXPECTED in techy-world, is a huge inconvenience. It's going to be squirrely tomorrow!
