Who put that schedule? The last day a HALF day on a MONDAY? And isn't that Monday Memorial Day? Why is there school at all?

We get out June 26....44 more school days.

So today I booked a moving truck!!

Moving truck is booked so now it's official.
As for who made up the schedule, well I'm not sure. Last year the kids got out on the 22nd of May so Memorial Day wasn't an issue. If school goes until or past Memorial Day the kids usually have school. This year it's a half day and I'm sure lots of kids won't be going (at least mine aren't). My oldest is in High School and that day is a make up day for Exams. Her last exam is the Friday before. If you don't have anything to make up you just don't go.

Hi everyone!
As you can see by my ticker we have plans to go at the end of September. Plans may change, now that my boys will be going to a parochial school next school year. This will be the first time paying tuition other than daycare.
I've already warned the boys that we may need to cancel. I think DH is most disappointed. Oh, by the way, we are from Hammond.

Hello, we hail from Avoyelles Parish, and went to Disney for Mardi Gras, and are already in the planning stages to return for Thanksgiving 2010. We would have gone back for Mardi Gras 2010, but it is also Pres. day week, bummer. Glad to have found the board.
