Where and if we can change dining rotation

On our upcoming 7-day, I suspect we will once again get APLAPLA rotation. If so, I would like to change to LAPLAPL, to be able to dine in our favorite rotation restaurant,Lumieres, 3x....

How easy is it to change rotations? Is it likely we will be able to change? Where and when can we request the change?

We are reserved for late seating and have no desire to change to early....

Last two cruises it was at Sessions - during embarkation (1-3, I believe are the times) The head servers are their with laptops and so far that smile and please has always worked for me. I always ask for a specific server. Call me spoiled!

I do suggest to get there early though. I always try for PLA or LAP, but have gone with APL just to get my favorite server - Animator's bothers me greatly - no windows and low ceilings.

I agree with you about Animators....although I simply just don't care for the food there.....

and have it noted in your ressie although it is not guranteed. We did place the request on our 7 day and received the PLAPLAP rotation. I also had a request for PLAP noted in the ressie for our 4 night. We like more casual instead of more formal and really enjoyed Parrot Cay but if it doesn't happen that's ok. Just an idea so maybe you won't have to change it.

Go to "Dining Changes" in Sessions, deck 3 forward after you board. They've always been able to do as we've asked.

They now state on the info sheet given out at check-in that dining changes can start immediately upon boarding. It used to start at about 1:00 pm. We boarded at 12:00 and went straight there as we met some wonderful people on the boarding line and decided we all wanted to sit at the same table for the cruise.

We were a party of 4 and they were a party of 2.....we had to switch our dining rotation from LAP to PLA but we were placed at a table for 6 and it worked out perfectly!!!! This rotation put us in Lumiere's for formal night and Parrot Cay for Tropical night!!!
