When your MagicBands are the same color....

I have 10 Magicbands to log into MDE before our trip and there are multiples of the same color. I thought about writing the person's first initial on the inside of the band or something like that to keep them straight. Will that work? Does anyone else have any suggestions or tips on this?

Whatever name you have listed for each band in your MDE will be printed inside of the band.

OP just for clarification are you staying off property? If so there really is no reason to buy magic bands but sounds like you may have already. If you are on property you can add names to the inside of the free ones so it shouldn't be a problem and they will be automatically linked to each MDE profile.

If you are set on buying MBs for everyone and need to keep track you can either buy the magic band stickers that can be used to customize each one, use a sharpie to write initials on them (can be inside or outside band), or do pretty much whatever as long as the Mickey head isn't blocked.

Write what you want. I've found with many materials that sharpie isn't as permanent as I thought it was, and with sweat it'll run off.

Are these from hotel stays? If so there should be up to 9 characters of personalization in tiny print inside the band that the owners might recall making. There are etsy shops which sell stickers for mbs.

And you can buy things at Disney to put on the bands.

Lots of ways to differentiate.

Many people don't use names. I don't. I have "5k redo" and "feb10k" and things like that.

I put my name and the date so I know when I got the band. Helps me keep track of when I should expect the long range RFID Chip battery to die. EX: Brian0316.

We have too many MBs. I personalize them (via MDE) with our names & the month or where we are staying. Helps us keep track. After our trip, we go through and deactivate them.

We are staying off site. I wanted MagicBands this time to make things easier. I didn't like having take cards in and out last time for FPs.
