When your friends post hot pictures on Facebook

I have a couple of fb friends like that. It's embarrassing. I mean, I feel embarrassed for them, but I suppose they don't care, so I shouldn't. I hate it when people post head shots of themselves over and over. Or, I guess, really any picture of themselves over and over that aren't vacation pictures or pictures out with friends, or something else in the picture to give it some interest.

 Wow. Is this what it's come to, to get a date? So glad I'm not in that pool anymore!

I'm in the pool and so are many of my friends but NONE of them stoop this low!

My god daughter is constantly posting sexy pics and she's happily (I think) married with two kids. :scared: She's still very young so I sort of get it but wow, do we REALLY have to see your tramp stamp????? :crazy2:

Oh and I love the sexy girls that post sexy pics and just watch the loser guys line up with the over the top compliments, I've literally seen stuff like this:

"You are the most gorgeous woman on earth"

"Breathtaking"

"You are an angel sent from God"

:rotfl2: On and on and on. I'm thinking wow, these girls egos must be off the chart. I rarely if ever post a compliment on these pics simply because I don't want to blend in with the tools that do. So its like, I can't even give someone a compliment because its just ridiculous at that point. You are 1 in 50 other losers and I don't want to be "that guy." Unless its a close real friend then that's different.

There is this one legit super model I have in my friends list. She is actually a really sweet down to earth girl, we've talked several times because we have several things in common. She is always posting professional pics, not very many at all that are sexy, just really great pro shots. But the guys still line up one after the other with the super cheesy over the top compliments which prevents me from saying anything at all. As sweet as that girl is, I'm sure her ego is off the charts. In her defense she is the most gorgeous girl on earth :rotfl:

I have one on my friends list, also. She recently had a baby and mostly post pics of herself in unflattering NON Supermodel poses. I think it shows her as a real person! She's even more beautiful to me because of it.:thumbsup2

I'm fine with all of that. the problem I have is everybody seems to need to pose for every picture on facebook with an alcoholic beverage in their hand...wine, cosmos, beer. Just looks so immature to me. Especially when it's a 40 year old. The only thing worse is duck face.
Ugh! Duck face! hate that.

:lmao: I find that quite amusing as well. :rotfl: Comment after comment of "you are sooo beautiful" "gorgeous!" and "wow your sexy!". What are these guys trying to prove? do they really think the chick will send a private message asking for a date??? Honestly. Lol. Very lame. Glad to hear youre not a tool-blender! :thumbsup2

I have a friend who is a single mom and just posted several pictures of herself and a few friends at a "toy" convention in AC. It is very obvious from the photos and the actions of the people in the photos what kind of "toys" were being showcased at the convention. She is friends with our priest, her children's teachers, and other parents. If I am not mistaken her son also has a facebook page and see all of these photos, he isn't even technically old enough to have a facebook page.

I have another friend who posts some rather interesting photos which she has professionally taken. I use the term professional in a very loose manner

I have a co worker who does this. Almost every day she is in a new outfit/hairstyle, making different facial expressions. It seems so odd to spend that kind of time taking pics of yourself. Especially when you have kids.

Ugh! Duck face! hate that.

Yep and that is the very worst way to get noticed, not that I'm trying to get noticed, but just saying. If I post anything at all its either a funny comment or something appropriate and not over the top. I have one friend that feels the same way and will post stuff like "I like french fries" :lmao: after the loooooong list of over the top compliments like the "you are the most gorgeous thing in existence" comments. :rotfl2:

OH! But the thing I find really funny, are the girls that post super sexy pics then complain if guys get out of line with the comments. Really? What exactly did you expect by posing in an outfit that's ready for Hustler magazine?

It's official.

I have the world's most boring life. I had to google "duck face." :sad1:

:lmao:

One person I am friends with has a daughter who is trying to be a Playboy model. I felt so uncomfortable when she was asking people to vote for her in a bikini contest. My Dh saw the pics and thought it was totally weird, he felt creepy even seeing the pics - we're in our '50's and this girl is about 21.

I don't have anyone on my list that posts sexy pics, but there is a girl that posts a pic nearly daily and she is nothing to look at. It's def. low self esteem (know her from high school, hasn't changed). Her mom always likes the pic or comments on her "pretty baby" (she's in her 30s). Her husband's profile pic is a laugh also... He's trying to look like a thug and he's pushing 40. The girl posts several times a day- her work schedule, dinner, what she's doing, going to bed.... I need to delete her, I only friended her bc I felt bad for her.

Whoa! So glad I don't have friends that post those kinds of pics. That's all I need clogging up my wall.

Worst I have to deal with is all my nieces making "kissy faces" at the camera. Every single pic... no matter which niece it is... looks exactly the same, LOL.

That is the duck face, it doesn't seem to be a big deal if its a younger person, but seems weird when people around 25 or older do it.

I have this one "friend" from HS who is mid 40s, in full blown mid life crises mode obviously, his last profile pic was him doing a duck face pose. :rotfl2: Hmmm yeah he looks super mature for sure, especially since he's still unemployed and refuses to find a real job.

I have a confession to make.

Warning, this may change how you think about me so take heed.

I have a group of friends that actually make fun of a shared friend of ours for doing JUST this. The non-friend is 50+ and puts up what she thinks is sexy pictures of her in what she thinks are provocative poses. She isn't; and they are not.

I know that I can do the adult thing and just block her. But the 15 year-old inside of me is having way too much fun. We sometimes come up with captions.

We all have 1 person we stay friends with on there because it's such a train wreck. You are not alone lol!

:lmao:

:rotfl: Me too. I don't have anyone who does this type of stuff on my FB page but my husband does.
He has lots of single women friended on FB (many are previous co-workers) and many of those do the lingere/swimsuit nonsense with this face. I don't get it.

I also don't understand why he doesn't unfriend those people. That's what I'd be doing.
But he's a guy so he probably enjoys looking.

Just posted this as my Facebook update:

"Spring cleaning for my Facebook Timeline: Just "hid" the people who post more than one "self portrait" of themselves per week. Not talking about kids, a picture they were tagged in, a new haircut, special occasion, etc....but those adults who like to post lots of pictures of just themselves for the heck of it. Sort of weird"

I don't have anyone that I'm friends with that posts "sexy" pictures, but I do have 2-3 female friends who at least once a week post a picture of themselves...either a picture they take with a cell phone or a picture with friends...but with everyone else cropped out and it's just them. I find that to be attention-seeking and weird.
