When your friends post hot pictures on Facebook

My sister (33) is really very pretty and newly single so every picture she posts of herself, she has guys falling all over themselves to post to it. It's a little annoying, as she doesn't go out of her way to attract that kind of attention. Most of her pictures are her with friends when she's out, so she's dressed cutely, but not like a skank.

The only picture she posted of her in a bikini (and she lives near the beach, so she's in a bikini a lot!) is one that was taken (and posted) while she was still married and I think it, actually, was her husband who posted it.

Still, I wish more guys would comment when she posts something funny or interesting than just when she posts a picture of herself.

One of my "friends" was friended because my (now ex) SIL asked me to. So we could decide if she was now a stripper. At the time, her profile pic was a close up shot of her cleavage. Far cry from the "good Catholic girl" image she had in high school! :)

I have a confession to make.

Warning, this may change how you think about me so take heed.

I have a group of friends that actually make fun of a shared friend of ours for doing JUST this. The non-friend is 50+ and puts up what she thinks is sexy pictures of her in what she thinks are provocative poses. She isn't; and they are not.

I know that I can do the adult thing and just block her. But the 15 year-old inside of me is having way too much fun. We sometimes come up with captions.

Uh, yes, I can relate to this. It is some sort of entertainment.;)

We all have 1 person we stay friends with on there because it's such a train wreck. You are not alone lol!

:thumbsup2

Some think a cami with a jacket is appropriate to work.

I work in finance and a cami with a jacket is completely appropriate in my office. Of course I'm talking about your typical cami and jacket and not ones that come from the Victoria Secrets catalog.

I have a friend who is a single mom and just posted several pictures of herself and a few friends at a "toy" convention in AC. It is very obvious from the photos and the actions of the people in the photos what kind of "toys" were being showcased at the convention. She is friends with our priest, her children's teachers, and other parents. If I am not mistaken her son also has a facebook page and see all of these photos, he isn't even technically old enough to have a facebook page.

So no privacy in her private life. Eww!

It's official.

I have the world's most boring life. I had to google "duck face."

Me too. As I read this thread, I kept picturing people with the duck bills that you can buy in the parks.

:lmao:

I don't have anyone on my list that posts sexy pics, but there is a girl that posts a pic nearly daily and she is nothing to look at. It's def. low self esteem (know her from high school, hasn't changed). Her mom always likes the pic or comments on her "pretty baby" (she's in her 30s). Her husband's profile pic is a laugh also... He's trying to look like a thug and he's pushing 40. The girl posts several times a day- her work schedule, dinner, what she's doing, going to bed.... I need to delete her, I only friended her bc I felt bad for her.

Oh man, lol, I wish I could see some of these pictures. I love 40 year old thugs. :sad2:

I'm confused by this as well. Since when are cami's not appropriate for work? I wear them to the office frequently under a jacket (I work in finance also). Always buttoned though so you see just a hint of lace. I love the feminine look cami's give to your outfit!

Now if you take OFF your jacket while at work... or anywhere other than your home(!) that's another story...

I am guilty of taking self portraits. Although I usually have my kids in the picture but occasionally I will rock a cute outfit.

In my defense I don't feel like I do it too much and I like to have photos of myself- not sexy or anything! simply because I am the family photographer so if I don't snap a picture of myself- it will never happen.

I like to have photographic evidence that I don't always look like crud. Heaven forbid me to ask my husband to take my picture. He will take one and it will be blurry.

Case in point, every single vacation he has not taken one printable photo in ten years.

Okay I am done. I know this wasn't what you meant but I had to get it off my chest!!! LOL

My husband's work asked him not to have a FB page.

I have one but mostly to keep in touch with people who live far away from me.

I don't have very many friends who post inappropriate things and the one who did I deleted.
