I just read your room reports and realized I hadn't post my September or November room information.
What was your room number?
In September we stayed in room 4137:
In November we stayed in room 5147:
My nephew was across the hall in room 5146
What view did you have?
Sept. I had booked standard view but recieved upgrade to inter Courtyard View overlooking Silver Creek and Silver Creek Springs (Pool)
Nov. I had booked two Woods View but recieved upgrades to inter Courtyard View overlooking Silver Creek and Silver Creek Springs (Pool) and my nephew was upgraded to Courtyard View overlooking Hidden Springs Pool facing the Villas.
What were the bed arrangements?
Room 4137 had two queen beds.
Room 5147 had two queen beds.
Room 5146 had two queen beds
Smoking or Non-smoking?
Room 4137 Non-smoking.
Room 5147 Non-smoking.
Room 5146 Non-smoking
What did you especially like about the location of the room
Both of the rooms had wonderful views of the pool and Silver Creek. They where close to side elevator and made for quick trips down to RF.
**Room 5147 was a connecting room 5145 not sure of bed arrangements for room 5145.
From room 5147 I could watch EWP
Unfortunately, the Villa view rooms are considered courtyard, but have no view of the inner courtyard and falls! You must specifically request inner courtyard! The reason for this pricing is: The villa rooms could not be priced at standard or woods because you are getting garden views etc.Originally posted by Gagebre
I've never stayed at WL and booked courtyard view today! I assumed since courtyard was the most expensive that all the views would be facing in towards the pool, geyser, etc. and of course be a wonderful view! I read through all these posts and noticed things like inner courtyard view, courtyard view facing villas, etc. If the room faces the villas how is it also facing the courtyard. Please excuse my ignorance but I've never visited this resort.
I would definitely do it again.

We just got back (12/5-12/14) had room number 5035. A center courtyard view of the main pool and the lake. The resort was fantastic and we fell in love with it the minute we walked in. I do not know how we will be able to stay anywhere else in the future. We were right near the elevator that is closet to Roaring Fork.

We were there the week of 12/6. We were in room 6067, courtyard -non smoking. It was just off of the lobby area and looked directly at the pool and lake with a perfect view of the water parade. We were in heaven!!!
It has been reported that WL no longer takes fax request but I faxed my request 4 days before arrival and got exactly what I requested. Maybe a ***e, but I will try it again.

I liked that this room was close to everything!!! Our room was located one floor below the lobby, so we were seconds away from the front desk, food court, gift shop and Whispering Canyon Cafe. It was a minute walk to the main pool with the spas, and only a minute away from bus transportation. Boat transportation was the furthest thing away from us! Probably about a 4 minute walk to the boat dock. What did you especially like about the location of the room?
