When you stayed at WL...

We really liked WL. Don't remember room #, but it was on the 5th (6th?) floor facing the geyser. Great view of the water (lagoon?) It was non-smoking and had a nice little balconey. The last day or so, it poured - a lot. I sat on the balconey in between catching up on our packing. The railing was wooden, more fencelike - so the rain didn't come in. Neat!

View of Bay Lake but one tree blocked the complete view! Could see the Silver Creek and a bunny eat by the creek at night!!

Just Back, we were in room 5034. 2 beds, woods view. We looked out to the castle, and could see the monorail thru the break in the trees. The fireworks were visible, but not a great view. The largest fireworks were to the right of castle. It was the most magical view I have had from a room though. The pond was there, but only saw birds, no otters. We were right around a wall from elevator, ice machine too. The elevator was very close to RF, which was nice. We brought food up to our room one night, it was so close. I found that if we walked down a couple of halls, we could look down at the amazing lobby, and take the main elevator down. The elevators are so fast and efficient too.
One room negative, if we stood out on our balcony, there was a direct view of the truck loading docks. On our last night there was an idling truck ALL NIGHT. And it was pretty loud.

We were just there in January and we were in room 7059.
There were bunk beds and a queen and we had a view of the courtyard. It was a great room (nonsmoking) with a great view, but I didn't care for the privacy balconies since you can't enjoy them sitting down. We loved our first trip to the Lodge and plan to return someday!

This was a complimentary upgrade from king room at POR due to some problems we were having there. We fell in love with WL after seing our room and the wonderful view.

We now will have a standard room for May but maybe we'll be lucky get upgraded. My brother has never stayed at a deluxe and my mom hasn't stayed at one since the 70's.

Just back also... We were in Room 7060... we had a lovely view of the MK.. we could see the Contemporary.. the monorail.. the castle.. Space mountain.. and the Poly off to the Left... all of it was beautiful.. until you stepped to the edge of the balcony and looked down.. it was the service entrance.... all the trucks and parking lot were there.. NOT very attractive... so... I just would Stand Back and admire the view... I haven't developed my PICs yet.. but will scan and post one once I do....

We stayed 7043 - north wing, courtyard view just above the waterfall.

I requested an end room and this was the case. The noise was absolutely minimal. The only noise was from the waterfall. The first time I opened the balcony door, I thought it was raining but it was just the waterfall.

We could see the pool, the geyser, the lake (ELP).

This room has bunk beds and a queen bed which was plenty of room for us.

We used the Roaring Fork elevators a lot as these were closer. Only used main elevators if we wanted to go by concierge desk.

I was very pleased with the room.

We had a disappointing first stay at WL the end of January 2004. I had AP rates for a woods view with bunk beds on top floor near MK side (north side). They said they upgraded us at check-in but all we got was a nonsmoking room on the first floor facing courtyard (stream and trees). It is the hallway to the elevators and very noisy both night and day. It took two hours after check-in to get our pack and play crib for our baby and going through 3 CM and finally the manager. The room was much more crowded than any deluxe room/resort we have ever stayed in and the hallway was always busy and noisy. We had thought about complaining the next day and try to get moved but we already had two small children settled and unpacked so we stuck with it for 6 nights. Unfortunately I will not stay at the WL again unless we use our Vacation Club points and stay in the villas. I had never had such awful service at the desk from CMs and have never had any request not granted. The moral of my story as when they say the requests are not guarenteed they are not! We still had a fun week and the Lodge and Pool is great but I won't take a chance of that happening again. I had not booked or paid for a standard room, I paid for a woods view and really wanted peace and quiet with little ones who need to nap and sleep. Funny, I met an older couple down the hall who were told they were "upgraded" to courtyard view and they too said the noise in the hallway was terrible but they ended up with bunk bed and no kids along! Oh well, we love Disney, just won't stay at WL again.

I've tried to write down room numbers and views but I'm confused.

If you needed a room with bunk beds and would like a view, what room would you request?

Any help would be appreciated.

We were on the third floor, I don't remember the room number. We had a woods view that looked towards the villas. We loved the location. We had a queen and a set of bunk beds.

We were in 6047 (well, my DS's were, anyhoo!) and they had a queen bed w/bunks. It had a view of the watrefalls and inner court, but this is not considered a std room.

We had Courtyard North wing room #5015 October 2003. It had 2 queen beds, non-smoking, and had a wonderful view of the pool, lake, and a glimpse of the geyser. It was just a short walk from the elevators, maybe the 8th or 9th room from them. We had a great stay and are going back in April. We could only get woods view, so are hoping for a good castle view this time.

Can't remember the room number, but it was the 4th floor, opening to overlook the beautiful lobby. I think the balcony overlooked one of the peaks of the exterior, but we didn't care. The lobby was beautiful to look out over, but it did get a little noisy inside the room when WC really got rockin! I didn't know what it was about, I just assumed it was some kind of high school cheerleading thing going on! I didn't figure out what it was until it was time for us to leave. duhhhhh....

I am hoping to get a room with bunk beds next trip. Does anyone know if that is an upgrade from a standard room, and if so, how much more it usually costs over standard? We don't really care about room location, but the bunks would be great for DS4 and DS6. They usually either kick DH and I in the bed all night, or sleep on the floor...

We had bunk beds in our room and I don't think we paid extra for them.

I loved the noise coming from the lobby. Especially the "Come and get it" said by the hostess.
