When you go on vacation to WDW..

We stay onsite the entire time, but this trip we are planning on going to Busch Gardens Tampa. It will only be DH and me, so we can ride all of the coasters DD can't ride yet.

I haven't visited a non-Disney park since my trip in 1998 when I went for spring break in high school (I've been to WDW 6 times since then). We went to Universal Studios, which I thought was just allright compared to Disney (mostly because I don't like thrill rides due to motion sickness). I did love the ET ride though! :)

Each time we've gone to Disney, we have left property....to go to the Disney Outlet Stores that is! :p

We stay on site for the vast majority of the time. Every few trips we go to SeaWorld. Haven't been to Universal in many years, and really have no desire to go. We do go every trip to the outlets to check out the 3 Disney outlets, the Birkenstock outlet, and the Liz Claiborne outlet. That's usually one evening though, and other than that, we are on site.

Historically 100% of our time would be on-site. Now that we have a CM in the family, we have occasionally gone off-site for dinner or shopping, but it was just for a few hours. Not interested in the other theme parks, just WDW.

Our last trip we finally went somewhere else......to Universal for 3 nights!!!:D

In 1996 and 2001 we also went to Sea World.
Our last minute Nov 02 vaca we only did the Disney parks.

We usually stay on site the whole time except for hitting the grocery store, Mass, and the outlets (only once). Once in a while we'll go to Sea World (which I love) and this past October we did Universal (which I didn't care for much). In my opinion nothing compares to Disney.

100% all the time --every time on site. Once in 1991, we did venture to Universal for the day and I couldn't wait to get back to WDW. I kept saying "Disney doesn't do it this way" and "Disney does it better". I am soooooo biased! :p

On the positive side for US, I did visit US Hollywood and enjoyed it very much.

We have worked our way into 100% onsite. In our opinion, no one does it better than Disney.
