Way back in the 70's your yearbook pic was your student ID pic- you HAD to take that pic- you could not skip it
Did they say this College Regent went to that college? Makes no sense
Not universally true in any way.Way back in the 70's your yearbook pic was your student ID pic- you HAD to take that pic- you could not skip it

Not where I went in the 80s. You had to get specific pictures done for the yearbook in the ugly velvet drape things, and only seniors were in the yearbook. At every college and university?

Occupation hazard. I attended a seminar taught by the Poynter Institute and the instructor said every answer from someone you are interviewing should have the follow up question.."Really, how can that be?"You're a suspicious guy.
Wealthy. The University tends to draft wealthy people to be Regents......there are a lot of buildings on campus names after, and paid for, by people who were Regents. What part makes you wonder: that she's wealthy? Or a woman? Or in business?
Well, NOWHERE on her CV does it mention she attended this University. It is all in the University's Press Release.SO, are you saying she lied on her resume about attending the school and the university is not even able to look into their OWN records to confirm this person attended?
Or you think the university itself is lying?
I am confused.
In any event--yes, sometimes I draw a complete blank about someone who recalls me from the past. I always feel badly when that happens, but you know I have moved a lot and met tons of people and I guess it just does not all stick.
I have never flt someone was pretending to have had a connection with me and it really did not happen though.

Maybe whoever maybe whoever did the write up got the year wrong. I'm terrible with names and faces. There are people I spoke to and hung out with every day and then I see them and can't even remember their name. It's annoying.Well, NOWHERE on her CV does it mention she attended this University. Not at all. You can't be informed if you don't ask questions.Sad way to live.
That is possible, but the Alumni directories have alphabetic listings too, and she is not there under her maiden or married name.Maybe whoever maybe whoever did the write up got the year wrong. Not worth that. Just curious. No requirement a Regent have attended the University, and this person, who is a well known business person, that I can see....... has never mentioned her education at all. Her CV is all her business accomplishments over the past 35 years. But I'm pretty sure the DIS can't inform you. If you truly doubt this person's credentials, I guess contact somebody at the University and ask for a clarification.
So everyone you meet in life you question to make sure they are who they say they are and are not lying about themselves?
