I was just curious if when you bank you call MS or email. I did not know if it might be better to email if they would email you back so you would have a written confirmation. We are going to bank our BCV add on points. Thanks.

I've always called. MS gives you some kind of "banking confirmation number" back.

I've also emailed them once or twice with a request to confirm the status of my points. Got a nice email message back and since their records agreed with mine, I was happy.:D

As you are thinking, I like having the e-mails as "proof" of the banking transaction. You also don't have to worry about being on hold. However, you can do it by phone. Just be sure to write down the confirmation number they give you and keep it with your DVC papers.

I always email my banking transaction unless I am on the phone with MS anyway. It usually takes a day or two to get the confirmation emailed back, but I print it and put it in my book where I keep track of my points. I think it saves time for me and MS!

I always call, then I can verify how many points I have left and where they are going so I can correct for any errors they make. I caught a 50 point mistake they made on my account by verifying the totals when I called.

Banking, what's banking??? Never had to worry about it, I've always been in the hole when it comes to points. I hope one day to have enough points that I can bank some for a change.;)
