OK, there would only be 2 adults (one who is in college) going on this trip and these are the only available time periods all could go. Sadly, most are in the thick of summer. :sad2:

Between these times, which week would you pick and why? Try to give more than one choice if you could please.

March 4th - March 11th
May 13th - May 20th
May 20th - May 27th
May 27th-June 3rd
June 10th - June 17th
June 24th - July 1st
July 8th - July 15th
July 15th - July 22nd

I'd go either in March or the earliest weeks in May. In May, most schools are not out yet, but it's nice and warm. So, probably fairly low crowds, but good weather to do the swimming parks as well. Have fun planning!

March 4th to 11th - we went the end of Feb into the begining of Mar last year and found it to be a very nice time to go. The crowds were not huge and the weather wasn't unbearable. May 13th to 20th is Probably also pretty nice, not fully into summer yet so should be ok. Other than those its gonna be hot and pretty crowded.

My vote would be early May. Schools won't be out yet. The weather is pretty good. The rest of the dates schools will be out and it will be a madhouse.

I would vote for either the March week or May 13-20. Although we went a week later than that in May - crowded but not unbearable. Any other time in summer could be bad with all the children out of school not to mention HOT! Good luck deciding!

OK, so June and July are definitely out - too hot and too crowded! Do you think it would make much difference in crowds between the week of 5/13 and the week of 5/20? I would imagine the closer to the end of the month and memorial day it gets more crowded.... Thoughts?

Definately July 15-22!

We always go in July and love it there! Then again...we are from New England and heat is like a saving grace for us! :rotfl:

We went last year from the 19-26 and because our family is all with the schools (teachers and students) we wasted half of the summer anticipating Disney and then the WDW week went by and we had only half the summer left.

The 15-22 is a good time slot and is far enough away from July 4th. I know I am going against the grain here by picking the time in the dead of summer, but that is what I would pick; when I would go. :thumbsup2

(It's also nice in the summer because when we get home, we don't have to worry or dread going back to the classroom...we know we are still on summer vacation.)

The earliest dates in May you can. I travel during that time most years and it's pleasant in terms of heat (getting warmer, but not too hot) and the crowds are usually minimal (especially compared to the summer season). The summer is just too hot and crowded to even be worth traveling for me. I know it works for some, but I just could never do it. Plus, the Flower and Garden fest is going on at Epcot - it's a beautiful time of year to be there.

I'd recommend against the March dates because you never know about mid-Feb to mid-April. It's always a crapshoot. Schools have rolling spring breaks that vary by region, state, and county, and they are always changing. Some schools do a week in Feb and a week in April, some do two weeks in March. It would definately be my second choice, however, far, far above anything in June or July.

Good luck whatever you decide!

Oh, I think you are right about the dates in March! That's when all the colleges are out here and that could make for an unpleasant experience! Do you think it would make a difference in crown level between the week of May 13th and the week of May 20th?

A few years ago my wife and I went over her spring break from college. The weather was beautiful and the crowds were very reasonable. No throngs of rowdy college students fighting for a seat on It's a Small World or anything.

Early March is a great time to go. There will be less locals as the FCAT testing will be taking place during the time you are looking at- although crowds might be a little higher on the weekend but if you plan MK and MGM for off the weekend it would be fun.
