Speaking about the ball throwing arrest. I did read where the police department apologized for that. They admitted it was over reaching. So that’s a positive.
I agree. The President can’t force an individual state to re open. But the pressure to will be massive. Especially from the citizens.The restrictions are crumbling as fast as they come upon us, April 20 from the White House, states will follow quickly

I'm not seeing any information about a date suggestion earlier than May 1. In the press briefing yesterday, it seemed pretty clear that even that was not firm. Fauci and Birx Both stated that although there has been some progress in some regions, the country has not peaked yet. What is your source for April 20?
I agree. The business they are in is doom and gloom.maybe your right, but I think Fauci and Brix have used up their cards of warnings for shutting down the Country. Again, you might be spot on, but thats not how I see it

Yes. And the kids would go nuts if they didn’t have a Walmart hour. Sporting goods to find a new baseball or something. My son is 14 so he likes the automotive stuff or head to Autozone to think about in 2 years his first car. Can’t stay at home all the time. Got to get out.
Yes Ohio has a stay at home order but. Goto any store that’s open. Especially Autozone. Etc. it’s busy for folks thinking about a car project. Etc.
I understand that it is hard to stay home but that is the whole point of the stay at home orders. The stores are open so folks can get needed items in a get in and get out quickly fashion. It is not intended for passing the time. My son is 16 and has not left the house for a month. Yes, it is not fun but he understands that this is not forever but we all need to sacrifice right now. We all do what we gotta do. Different strokes for different folks. We won’t be there tomorrow. One. I’m on duty. And two. Everything here is closed for Easter. I suppose I’ll swing up to the church for a quick prayer. But. I do miss mass.Do your kids "need" their Walmart hour everyday, every other day, every third day?? Ha, ha!!
My boys are both in their 20's now. But, when they were middle school/high school, I can guarantee you that they never would have wanted to step into Walmart for fun!! In fact, it would have been just the opposite!! They were both 3 sport athletes, plus played both baseball and hockey in the summer. They LOVED it!! But, if they had been told by the governor to stay home for three weeks (tomorrow will be 3 weeks for NH since the SAH order) they would have LOVED it!! We were constantly on the go, all of the time. They would have viewed being told to stay home for a few weeks a gift to relax and do some of the things they rarely had a chance to do. They would have missed hanging out with their buddies I am sure, but they would have survived, just like they survived taking multiple two week family vacations per year.
I am sure after many weeks of being on the SAH order it would get old, but its ONLY been three weeks. They would have found plenty of stuff to do that was much more exciting to them than a trip to Walmart of all places!! Ha, ha!!
edited to add- I just asked them, and they agreed with everything that I just wrote! Heck, my oldest is a civil engineer and his office has been closed for 3 1/2 weeks. He is LOVING it!! He is working from his house and is using all of the extra time to do much needed things he has been wanting to get done. My youngest still lives here. He was finishing his last semester in college and working part time. He is loving it even more than his brother!! Sleeping in, doing his two classes on line, and a whole lot of gaming on line with his buddies! Both are abiding by the SAH order on their own and although they are sad/alarmed by the virus, also very content with laying low!
The thought of "going nuts" without an hour at Walmart, is quite foreign to us!
There was an inmate riot in a medium security prison about 30mins from me Thursday. From what they've investigated it was related to healthcare services, staffing levels, PPE, testing, isolation, quarantine, etc for COVID-19..basically the company running the healthcare for the prison not having any or meaningful protocol for the virus. There was also a mixture of I believe overall treatment of the inmates so I'm guessing it came to a head but with a salient aspect regarding the virus. I really can understand that. It's like nursing homes, long term care facilities, physical rehab facilities..people in close confined areas lead to high spread.I can't imagine people not massively rebelling against another lockdown.
Where is this unemployment money that people keep talking about? What states have even received it from the government? Mine certainly hasn't. And speaking of the most vulnerable, how many are going to die because they're missing life sustaining medications since it's a choice between meds/food/rent right now? How many people are going to die because they have illnesses brewing that aren't being caught because doctor's appointments are canceled? This virus isn't the only thing that is threatening people, but go right ahead with your name calling if it makes you feel better.

There is no order that you can’t go out for a walk or this or that anywhere. And even the mask orders aren’t enforceable. They can say to wear them.... but In the end. You can’t actually be made to. Now. I’m all for people doing what they want as to wearing them. Free country. There may be some wear them all summer and that’s fine. I support that. I choose not to. But we all have different feelings as to our own safety.
As for the National Gaurd. For that to happen would be Martial Law. And I can assure you that will never happen.
Yes the military is being used for humanitarian efforts and medical. . But once that line is crossed and they actually arrested someone simply walking down the street. Look out. Time to call in the A team. Lol
I talked about that earlier. Those places are considered private property. So yes. You are right they can make that happen. I was taking about just being in public spaces. Tax payer funded or such. Like a sidewalk. Or a gathering on private property.Went out to the food store today and they will not let you in unless you are wearing a mask.
