When will SWA schedule come out past June 6?

Never thought I'd be asking this question being out of MSP...but with the new SWA codeshare with ATA, I'd at least like to see what's up.

I leave June 22, but SWA doesn't have the schedule out past June 6.

So...you SWA vets...when will the schedule be extended? I never have followed the whole SWA date watch before (never had to) so I have no idea what their patterns are in terms of releasing new dates.

I called SWA to ask that question last week.

It used to be that the phone reps knew when new dates came out, then went to every 6 weeks. Now they don't know. She looked at last year and told me last year it was mid February - so she thought it should be soon. Said that the last date extension was in late November so it was 'due anytime'. Also said they no longer have a set day of the week they update on.

I am curious too. SWA has great prices, but I would venture to guess that their price out of MSP is going to stay around that $99 mark unless they run an initial sale to drum up some business.

They have to share those dollars with ATA, so I will be happily suprised if they ever offer $49 each way.

I had a pleasant surprise yesterday. Our return flight is on a blackout day March 13) for rapid rewards tickets, so I had to purchase FULL FARE return flights, as that was all that was available last month. Yesterday, they added FUN Fares to the website, and I was refunded $345 (on 3 tickets) when I switched the level of my tickets. I always figured that once the fun fares were gone, they were gone forever. So it pays to keep checking. I also upgraded our car yesterday from Premium to Mini-Van for $5 more for the week through the SWA website.

I just called today because I too am getting very antsy and want to book our flight for our girls only trip leaving on 6/19. I spoke to very nice woman who told me that they only find out on the day that the schedule is extended. She did tell me that she would HIGHLY suggest checking their website Thursday mornings after 10 am EST. I've got a sticky note on my calendar at work to check every Thursday morning until our flights are booked!!

We are also waiting for fares past June 6. We booked our outbound flight for May 29th and hope that wasn't a mistake. Reading the SW thread about all the boarding problems makes me a little leary. We usually fly Delta but are taking this chance because of a good fare.
