I did the same thing and back from the shower and no luck- My kids will be up soon then we have to get off to school and work-- Please Southwest just flip that switch or push the button what ever it is so I can go to work with my Christmas trip booked!!!
Got it! They must have heard us and fixed the site My tickets were not as cheap as I had hoped, but at least now I have them and hopefully the prices will go down!
Keep trying. It's really spotty. I couldn't get in, then I did, then I changed airports and couldn't get in again. Tried again right away and got in. Didn't like the fares, so I booked on Jetblue. Turned out cheaper with JB even though I have a credit with SW.
Gee, that was the hardest thing I've had to do to book a flight. The prices were OK but we didn't allow for the fact that there wouldn't be a morning flight out of PIT on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
DH reluctantly agreed to take the late afternoon flight out on Thanksgiving so we get to start our vacation a little early. Now to find an acceptable hotel for the night before our REAL vacation begins.
I've booked 6 flights this morning. First confirmation came in at 6:29am and the last one at 7:03. Southwest.com went stupid for a few minutes, but then was working again so I could do the rest. Ahhh...now I can stop fretting about getting flights just before Christmas!
Southwest went stupid on me a few times too... it couldn't decide if the dates were open yet or not! But I got our November flights book... it wasn't pretty though! $400 per person! I had shopped around and wasn't finding anything better...
I'm hoping the fares go down & I can get some credits for our April trip.
Fares were higher than I thought they would be. . .Gonna keep checking around . . .It's hard to just plan a get up and go when including the kids for the next trip as DS will be going to college in the fall and I have to go by his schedule . . .I also couldn't get past the glitch for a few minutes . . .it kept saying the schedule was open through January, when it really wasn't? Would really love to go for Thanksgiving though . . .
