I think most predictions I've seen have it sometime towards the end of next year.

I'm hoping they come out with some stronger incentives that push it to the finish line.

As it gets closer to selling out maybe that fact in and of itself will drive more sales and accelerate the process.

I used to think end of next year too until I read an article that it was 90 something % sold out and I was like omg could it happen this year?

I voted Q1 of next year...if they do some sort of special to get it sold? Maybe the end of the year so that they go into 2026 with just Poly tower and CFW to sell, so they are ready for LSL in 2027.

Now, wild speculation.....once RIV is gone, and its just Poly tower and CFW, they will announce in 2026 that LSL and CFW will be part of the same package in some way, which will spark the CFW sales so they are selling LSL without actually selling LSL

Im trying to wait until I can experience it and pay off all my resales which would take me to Q1 next year realistically, with not being able to save as much during holidays, but im not going to lie im getting nervous! I dont think you're speculation is too wild, makes sense to me!

I am hoping we get an announcement for a new Epcot area resort when RIV is close to selling out 🤞

My crazy curve ball, they will expand Riviera into Aruba..... Add a new Villa type or two, a solid pool with a lazy river or something awesome, and sell a few million points. Last time we stayed there 80% of the people on the bus at the end of the night were CBR/Aruba people who said they got in the Riviera bus line as it was way shorter and closer than CBR's busses. Might as well make it official :)

I'm not sure when it'll be sold out, but I could envision Poly and Riviera both selling out sooner (Q1 RR/Q2 Poly) than later since they're both popular and smaller resorts.

I wonder if they're going so fast on LSL to be built so they can start selling early 2027 versus mid/late 2027. Can't wait for D23 to see some pics! Would they announce this D23 the next DVC or wait to next D23 since LSL would be more imminent?

I do think @NVDISFamily isn't far off -- I could totally see them adding on to Riviera at some point to create more Epcot points.

I wonder if they're going to start ROFR'g Animal Kingdom to do a push over there since that's the park getting the most new attractions in the next few years. DVC has really built up MK, and LSL is a monster of points to be sold. That's going to be selling for many years. If they bought back AK like they did OKWe and do that mega sale, that would drum up a lot of AK activity, especially after the refurbishment coming up.

Is CBR a huge resort? I've never been there

Yes, it is. We walked around most of it when we stayed at Riviera. They could easily take some or all of CB and expand RIV - Aruba would be most likely given it is not the “preferred” section closest to CB’s main pool and restaurants, although the Martinique section is similarly close. I think there is a pretty good stretch of land south of Jamaica and across from Trinidad where maybe something could be done with (maybe they expand CB there if they did away with Aruba).
