When will magic bands arrive?

How long before your trip are magic bands normally sent? We're at 40 days and haven't received them yet, which I'm sure is fine....I'm just impatient. Wondering if they're sent out a month prior to departure or more like two weeks from departure?

It was 30 days prior to our arrival in previous years.This year, we upgraded to a different room once the room discount occurred.We were told that the 30 days time frame would be when the Magicbands would be sent.

We received ours today for an 8/14 check in.

Ha! I just posted the exact same thing! Good to know they are consistent!

Seems like they have streamlined the shipping process from our visit 2 years ago. That was the first year of Magic Bands so I'm glad they've got their process down. It was all crazy then, and a lot less definite when you would have the bands.

We leave 4 weeks before our check in so I guess its a hit or miss if we will get ours in time. Guess I will have to have someone mail them to us or use last years.

Mine shipped at 30 days out and then I got them 5 days later this past September. I'm currently 48 days out and I am so anxious to see that they shipped!!

We are in Canada and it appears we have to pick ours up at the front desk when we arrive.

I was hoping they would ship them so I could wrap them up and use them as a "Surprise We're Going To Disney". The kids still don't know we are going August 23rd

What happens if they don't come before you leave can we use ones from last year?

Yes you can use last year's bands. Even if they do arrive you can take both sets if you got different colours to coordinate them to different outfits.

You may be able to request they be waiting at the resort like international visitors' bands are. I might try calling.

We have 3 birthday's this month and every time we get a package the kids don't care if they are presents they just want to know if its their Magic Bands,of course i'm waiting too.

Yes as long as they are listed as active in your MDE account, you can use them.
